Race 1   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 HANDICAP TROT
ASTERIA LAVRA - over-raced middle stages.
KINGS LANDING - driver Z Butcher reported he did not release the gelding's removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SPRINGBANK MASON - broke near the 1500 metres losing its chance.
Race 2   JACOBSEN HEADSTONES MOBILE PACE
RONDA - paced roughly for several strides approaching 200 metres.
LAURIE'S DELIGHT - when spoken to regarding the improved performance co-trainer D McGowan advised that the gelding had been aided by a good draw, the tempo of the race and had received a favourable run throughout.
SCRIBBLES - hung and was out of position at the start. Hung and raced greenly at various stages.
OHOKA CREED - when questioned regarding the colt's performance the connections advised that they had been disappointed with its efforts particularly so after an encouraging recent workout. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MAGIC THOMPSON - over-raced down the back straight the first time.
Race 3   PASCOES THE JEWELLERS TROT
SKY HIGH FLYER - driver J Dunn reported that he did not activate the mare's removable deafeners due to having the field covered. When questioned regarding the improved performance co-trainer D McGowan advised that the mare had been able to capitalise on an economical run and appreciated the improved track conditions.
QUEEN OF STRATHFIELD - trotted roughly for a short distance approaching 1800 metres and had to be steadied. Trotted roughly rounding the final turn and then broke near the 200 metres losing ground.
WILLIS GRAHAM - broke shortly after the start settling at the rear. The all clear was delayed until it could be confirmed that the gelding had not galloped 150 metres.
PHOEBE MAJESTIC - trotted roughly for some distance rounding the bend near the 1400 metres and had to be steadied. Broke near the 900 metres losing all chance.
TE KOUKA SUN RISE - broke at the start and soon settled.
EMPRESS OF THE SUN - broke near the winning post on the first occasion losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900 metres. Trotted roughly under pressure on the final bend.
DEBBIE LEE GALLEON - broke near the 1050 metres.
ALDEBARAN FLAME - raced wide in the early stages. Broke briefly passing the 900 metres. Shifted out passing the 150 metres and had to be corrected.
Race 4   SIMS PACIFIC METALS - MONEY FOR METALS MOBILE PACE
KERRI MAGUIRE - late scratching at 11.21am on veterinary advice.
BLITZEMBYE - pulled hard score up. Held up early final turn. Driver T Mitchell was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the home straight.
Race 5   MAGNESS BENROW NZ SIRES STAKES CHAMPIONSHIP (MOB PACE)
PLAY PHILLY - raced keenly middle stages.
A BETTOR YOU - paced roughly entering and rounding the first bend.
LADY LA SALLE - paced roughly approaching the first bend briefly losing contact with the field. Broke approaching the 100 metres losing its chance.
COVER GIRL - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to the back of the field.
DANCE TILL DAWN - raced three wide without cover throughout. Briefly had to be steadied near the 1100 metres when MR KAPLAN shifted outwards for a short distance.
ARTISAN - lay in passing the 950 metres and again on the final bend. Held up late in the home straight.
MIKI MONTANA - broke passing the 150 metres but soon settled. Paced roughly over the final stages. Stood down pending one satisfactory trial.
MONTANA GLORY - raced four wide without cover from the 700 metres.
CHEVRONS BYPASS - briefly disappointed for racing room passing 100 metres and had to shift outwards.
TRUE FANTASY - raced four wide with cover from the 700 metres.
Race 6   BRECKON FARMS 2021 NORTHERN TROTTING DERBY (MOB TROT)
LEAF STRIDE - broke in the score up losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
MEXICANA - broke at the start and trailed the field. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
I SEE FIRE - lay in at various stages. Broke near the 100 metres losing its chance.
WANNA PLAY WITH ME - broke passing the 250 metres losing its chance.
Race 7   2021 "WHAT THE HILL" ROWE CUP (STAND TROT)
TEMPORALE - lay in approaching the 2200 metres contacting several track markers.
ONE APOLLO - broke briefly at the start.
MAJESTIC MAN - broke near 200 metres losing ground before settling. The all clear was delayed until it could be confirmed that the gelding had not galloped 50 metres.
OSCAR BONAVENA - driver M Purdon was charged under Rule 869(2) and Whip & Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein near the 250 metres. Mr Purdon admitted the breach and his driver's license was suspended from the conclusion of racing on the 30th of April up to and including the 14th of May 21 (5 days).
Race 8   DAWSON HARFORD LTD 2021 NZ MESSENGER CHAMPIONSHIP (MOB PACE)
IDEAL AGENT - weakened over the final stages.
SOUTH COAST ARDEN - raced keenly middle stages.

LITTLE MISS PERFECT - lay in on final bend and contacted several track markers.

SATCHMO - trainers P & V Blanchard were issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for the late notification of sliding blinds. Over-raced middle stages.
Race 10   NZB STANDARDBRED MOBILE PACE
SUPERBASS - lay in and paced roughly near the 400 metres losing ground. Continued to lay in rounding the home turn.
