Race 1   PGG WRIGHTSON MOBILE PACE
AURELIA COTTA - hampered by a breaking horse near the 1700 metres.
SIPOWICZ - broke briefly over the crossing hampering a trailing runner. Driver A Poutama was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than wrist-flicking motion.
NICKY JAY - lay in on various occasions. Held up early in the run home.
IDEAL ZEN - briefly paced roughly nearing the home straight and also paced roughly passing the 200 metres.
BOULTON HOME - briefly hampered middle stages of the run home.
MANHATTAN SUNSHINE - paced roughly over the final stages.
ALTA MADEIRA - hung inwards final stages of the score up.
LAVISH ART - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1700 metres when briefly forced wider on the track.
Race 2   LARNOCH POLL DORSET MOBILE PACE
RICHMOND TIGER - Driver A Poutama was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist-flicking motion over the concluding stages.
GYPSY - lay in entering the home straight.
ASCONA - Trainer R Villiger was warned for presenting the gelding with non-notified blinds.
EASY DOES IT - paced roughly late in the score up and shortly after the start.
CRIMSON RAIN - held up nearing the home turn.
JORDAN'S JURY - the gelding was given a pre-race veterinary check as it had not raced or trialed for approximately 3.5 years. Weakened on the final bend.
WRIGGLES RUFUS - slightly back from the mobile arm at the point of dispatch. Raced wide early stages. Driver J Robinson was spoken to advisedly about using his whip free of the rein on the final bend.
SMOKE N HEAVEN - lay in throughout the run home.
Race 3   CONNIE STEWART NZ SOTHEBY'S INTERNATIONAL REALTY MOBILE PACE
POCKET BOOK - Driver N Delany was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist-flicking motion.
JUNGLE GEM - paced roughly passing the 100 metres.
RIPSNORTER - broke briefly at the start. Over-raced early to middle stages. Broke briefly nearing the home straight. Weakened over the concluding stages.
THE BLUE BEAT - raced wide early stages.
ADIEU FLIRT - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start.
CLASSEY ROBIN - raced wide early.
RAZCAL ALLEY - Driver S Abernethy briefly dropped his leg when activating gear in the home straight.
MAC'S TOMADO - Driver A Poutama advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 4   OSBORNE GROUP CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN LOVELY - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the mare had not raced or trialled since March 2020.
RED RIVER DASH - raced fiercely in the score up.
EMMI ROSE - raced wide early stages.
SHE'S A REBEL - broke in score up. Out of position at the start. Weakened from the 800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MARIA KIRILENKO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 650 metres.
JETSON HUNTER - broke near the 650 metres hampering a trailing runner.
MIDNIGHT IN MEMPHIS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 650 metres.
Race 5   GRANT PLUMBING WELLINGTON CUP MOBILE PACE
PORT DELIGHT - held up throughout the home straight.
BROOKIES JAFFA - raced wide early stages.
THE KAPITI EXPRESS - raced wide early stages.
ESPECIAL - over raced near the 1100m. When questioned regarding the performance Junior Driver S O'Reilly stated that she was disappointed with the mare's run and could offer no excuse.
J BEE - broke near the 40 metres and was lapped on by PORT DELIGHT and TICKING OVER. Stewards lodged a Protest into the gelding's 4th placing. After hearing from the Stewards, Trainer C Wigg, Junior Driver N Delany and viewing the replays the JCA upheld the Protest and relegated the gelding to 6th place.
