Race 1   KEN FRASER MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
HAKA PRIDE - broke for several strides at the start and was slow away. Inclined to lay in rounding the final turn contacting track markers.
MELANIE ADAMS - gave ground final stages.
THANK YOU - broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
ARDEE TROUBLE - this well supported runner raced toward the rear and failed to make any impression finishing in 7th place beaten 13.6 lengths. Driver B Orange advised that he was very disappointed with the gelding's performance and felt that the horse did not try. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
ZONED SCARLETT - inclined to shift up the track when in the lead racing through the straights. Broke when in the lead approaching the 200 metres, settled back into a trot and then mixed its gait on two more occasions in the run home. The authorisation of this runner's third placing was withheld until such time that Stewards had established that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 2   FARRIER & WEBB MOBILE PACE
JIMMY RICHTER - over-raced middle stages. Driver D Butcher was spoken to advisedly in regard to his whip action.
DELMA CRAZE - inclined to over-race when being restrained to obtain the one one position approaching the 1900 metres.
SPECIALE UNO - raced three wide early. Weakened out final turn.
SHE'S A REBEL - broke early in the score up and recovered to take its position prior to the start. Weakened out from inside the final 600 metres.
CONTRACTUAL ISSUES - Driver D Ferguson admitted a charge in that he used his whip with more than a wrist only flicking action and the JCA imposed a $200 fine.
Race 3   MANAWATU ITM MOBILE PACE
TONICHOOCHOO - over-raced early stages.
I SAID IMRACN - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Caught the field with 1150 metres to run then shifted into the passing lane improving up the inside of the main body of the field resulting in the horse racing to the inside of the marker line through the length of the back straight and rounding the final turn. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record and it was also declared ineligible until such time that it trials satisfactorily. Driver A Pyers defended a charge in that his drive fell well below the expected standard when he drove incompetently resulting in the gelding improving into the passing lane near the 1100m and racing inside the marker line for a considerable distance. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing replays the JCA upheld the charge and suspended Mr Pyers' driver's licence upto and including 19 April 2021.
AURELIA COTTA - tired over the final stages.
Race 4   DOUG BRADLEY PAINTERS MOBILE PACE
MISTER MIGHTY - raced three wide without cover from the 950 metres.
EMMI ROSE - raced three wide with cover from the 950 metres.
FRANK THE TANK - held up rounding the final turn.
LAVAZZA - held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home.
MATRIKA - improved three wide inside the 1300 metres to race outside the leader at the 1100 metres but only battled in the run home finishing in seventh place beaten 4.8 lengths.
ONEDIN PUNTER - raced three wide early.
CHALBERG - raced four and three wide from inside the 700 metres.
Race 5   PROFESSIONAL CONCRETE SERVICES MOBILE PACE
FRANKIE JONES - improved three wide over the early stages to race outside the leader approaching the 1900 metres.
ART COURAGE - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
RAKE - raced four deep on the marker line, held up rounding the final turn and then ran on for 4th placing beaten 4.8 lengths.
SHANROAD - broke near the 250 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 6   THE COBB MANAWATU CUP (MOBILE PACE)
FRANCO GARRETT - broke early in the score up but was in position prior to dispatch. Weakened from inside the 500 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.
HIGH POINT - inconvenienced by a tiring runner from inside the 500 metres.
THE KAPITI EXPRESS - inconvenienced by a tiring runner from inside the 500 metres.
Race 7   SCOTT & LYDIA DICKSON RACING STABLES MOBILE PACE
ROCKNGOODTIME - weakened out badly inside the 1000 metres inconveniencing trailing runners and was retired from the event. A post race veterinary examination revealed abnormal respiratory noise. Stewards will follow up with Trainer L Whittaker regarding the recovery in the coming days.
EASTANBULL - Driver K Marshall was spoken to in regard to his whip use being more than a wrist only flicking action.
ACE STRIKE - improved three wide early to race outside the leader at the 1950 metres.
HEZACROCWATCHER - raced three wide without cover from the 1050 metres.
EAGLE WATCH - raced three wide with cover from the 1050 metres.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - inclined to over-race early. Inconvenienced by a tiring runner approaching the 950 metres and then weakened out over the final 700 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
TICKING OVER - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
ROCKNGOODTIME - Trainer L Whittaker advised Stewards on 1 December that the gelding had undergone various veterinary examinations which revealed no significant issue and had worked well subsequently.
Race 8   ARNA WRIGLEY FAREWELL MOBILE PACE
BET ON STEPH - broke in the score up losing considerable ground and trailed the field throughout. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier record.
NICKY JAY - over-raced and then broke free of interference passing the 600 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
DRAMATIST - lead then weakened badly inside the final 500 metres inconveniencing trailing runners. Driver J Abernethy reported that the mare pulled hard when in the lead. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance record.
WRIGGLES RUFUS - inconvenienced by a weakening runner inside the 500 metres.
SHEZA ROSE - lay out and paced roughly in the score up and was a length out of position at the start. Three wide from the 950 metres. Driver T Mitchell was spoken to in regard to using his whip with more than a wrist only flicking action.
Race 9   RACING NEXT DECEMBER 8TH & 10TH MOBILE PACE
BARBAROSSA - dislodged a track marker at the 1200 metres. Driver T Mitchell was issued a warning with regard to using his whip in more than a wrist only flicking action.
DREAMS ARE BETTOR - weakened final turn.
POLKA DOT DANCE - inclined to lay in rounding the bends. Contacted track markers at the 1200 metres.
CONOR MCGREGOR -failed to run on over the latter stages of the back straight the final time inconveniencing a trailing runner.
SIPOWICZ - inconvenienced by a weakening runner over the latter stages.
