Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
BAD HOMBRE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
SURFERS DELIGHT - held up early stages of the run home.
SOVIET STAR - driver T Chmiel was spoken to for using his whip free of the rein. Mr Chmiel was also advised to make a greater effort to ensure his runner maintains a straight course in the run home.
MARY ROBYN - raced wide in the early stages.
FIVE STAR GENERAL - lay outwards throughout the run home.
IKSAKA - hung inwards and paced roughly final bend. Had to be steadied near the 100 metres for a short distance when placed in restricted room. Driver B Butt was spoken to regarding using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
ROSIES TERROR - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Morrison. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
CRISTIANO BUCCINI - had to be steadied briefly near the 100 metres.
TOMMY TAHI - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

TEST THE BOUNDARIES - broke after 100 metres. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TEQUILA SUNSET - hung inwards final bend. Briefly crowded near the 250 metres.
RACHMANINOV - lay inwards through the early stages. Again lay inwards leaving the final bend briefly crowding inside runners.
SODS LAW - began awkwardly.
TAKE AFTER ME - broke near the 2100 metres losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ANDOVERLOV - driver B Butt was spoken to for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
LOCKSMITH - trotted roughly early stages before breaking after 150 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BLINK N BONES - driver B Ford was spoken to for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
DD'S SUPER STUART - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Lay inwards on the final bend and struck several pylons. Briefly crowded near the 250 metres and again struck pylons.

ONE OVER ALL - hung inwards throughout the home straight and shifted into the passing lane late in the run home. Driver G Smith was advised to make a greater effort to ensure he leaves full access to the passing lane for trailing runners. Mr Smith also said he would be considering making gear changes to the gelding. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
RED HARBOUR - lay outwards through the middle stages.
Driver I Cameron (BRIGHT GLOW) was spoken to for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
Race 3   HARCOURTS GRENADIER REAL ESTATE LTD MOBILE PACE
GILLIGANS ISLAND - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards rounding the final bend.
TOM MARTIN - held up for the majority of the home straight. Driver R May reported he did not activate the removable gear applied to the entire. Stewards questioned Mr May regarding his decision not to improve outwards passing the 550 metres prior to being covered by the improving BURNHAM BOY. Mr May explained that the horse had been pacing roughly throughout and had not been travelling as well as he had anticipated and for these reasons he was reluctant to improve at this stage of the race. Stewards noted Mr May's comments.
TYRON'S BIT OF LEMON - raced wide early stages.
THAT ALEXANDER GUY - driver R Close was spoken to for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
SWEET MARY - hung inwards through the early and middle stages.
MONGOLIAN CAVALRY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Cox. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the entire. Held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
Race 4   AUSTIN'S FARRIER SUPPLIES MOBILE TROT
PHOEBE ONYX - weakened final bend.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - weakened from the 600 metres.
SPLASH COLA - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
MATUA TANA - broke after 200 metres. Broke again approaching the 100 metres.
MAJESTIC MAN - hung inwards under pressure on the final bend and struck several pylons. Trotted roughly in the home straight and was unable to be driven out by driver M Williamson. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer P Williamson reported the horse had raced fiercely due to the false start at the first attempt.
WINTERFELL - trotted roughly in the score up and broke before shifting outwards despite the efforts of driver M Purdon resulting in the horse improving in front of the mobile arm resulting in a false start being declared. While in a break WINTERFELL made heavy contact with the mobile arm as the field were slowing down behind the barrier. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Mr Purdon was warned to make a greater effort to prevent his runner from making contact with the barrier arm when in similar circumstances. Underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to take part in the restart. Broke again in the score up of the restart losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend and trotted roughly. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 5   ALLIED SECURITY MOBILE PACE
MAJORCA - lay outwards throughout the run home.
TIEBREAKER - weakened leaving the final bend.
AQUA SANCTA - raced wide early stages. Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead for a short distance passing the 1300 metres. Driver T Williams reported he did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
ONLY IN AMERICA - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
SOMEKINDAWONDERFUL - over-raced throughout.
MIDFREW LUISIANABEAU - late scratching at 1:45pm on Veterinary advice. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
MIGHTY LOOEE - driver K Newman reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre in the middle stages.
CARLOS BROMAC - raced four wide without cover from the 600 metres. Weakened leaving the final bend.
CHEEZEL - held up final bend and for the majority of the home straight.
LULU LE MANS - raced four wide with cover from the 600 metres.
Race 6   WOODLANDS SIRES' STAKES SERIES (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE
PEMBROOK'S DESTINY - weakened leaving the final bend.
PACE N PRIDE - driver N Rasmussen was spoken to for using her whip with more than a wrist only flicking motion.
ALADDIN - held up final bend.
ARDEN'S ACE - over-raced early stages and paced roughly after 200 metres. Lay inwards rounding the final bend when improving wide on the track.
DASHING MAJOR - back slightly at the start despite the efforts of driver J Dunn. Mr Dunn reported the gelding had hung inwards throughout. Trainer R Dunn reported he had been disappointed with the effort.
CASTELO DE VIDE - back slightly at the start despite the efforts of driver B Butt. Held up final bend. Driver B Butt was spoken to regarding breaking up his use of the whip with alternative actions.
Race 7   NZMTC 120 YEARS OLD TODAY HANDICAP PACE
A false start was declared when the 25 metre barrier strand became entangled around the legs of CLASSIE BRIGADE.
BETTATHANFAST - broke at the start and shifted outwards. Hampered final bend by weakening runner.
DI CAPRIO - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver J Morrison reported the entire had been unsuited to racing parked for the final 1200 metres with the fast tempo throughout and was of the opinion the horse may not have backed up from racing at Methven on Sunday.
MIKEY MAGUIRE - weakened final bend.
HENRY HUBERT - paced roughly near the 2200 metres and had to be steadied. Again paced roughly in the home straight. Driver T Williams was spoken to for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
CLASSIE BRIGADE - a false start was declared when the 25 metre barrier strand became entangled around the legs of CLASSIE BRIGADE. Driver J Dunn was spoken to for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
THEFIXER - the required veterinary clearance was received.
Race 8   HARAS des TROTTEURS SIRES STAKES CHAMPIONSHIP (MOB TROT)
FRANCO JORIK - trotted roughly through the early stages. Crowded rounding the final bend by outside runner and struck several pylons. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver R May reported the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
LEAF STRIDE - hung outwards in the score up and broke losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TIME UP THE HILL - over-raced middle stages. Driver K Barron was spoken to regarding using his whip free of the rein and with more than a wrist flicking motion.
BITAMUSCLE - came together with OUTAMYWAY late in the run home.
ROYAL PRIDE - over-raced in the early stages of the score up having to be steadied and as a result was back slightly at the start. Hung inwards final bend crowding inside runner. Driver C DeFilippi reported that his foot slipped out of the sulky rest late in the run home when driving his runner out. Mr DeFilippi was spoken to regarding using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
I SEE FIRE - underwent and passed a pre-race veterinary examination after falling in the stable area. Broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
OUTAMYWAY - trotted roughly in the score up and was back slightly at the start. Continued to trot roughly at various stages. Hung inwards on the final bend and throughout the run home. Came together with BITAMUSCLE late in the run home.
Race 9   ALLIED SECURITY - BIG SUPPORTERS OF ADDINGTON HCP TROT
GOLD CHAIN - broke after 150 metres. Over-raced middle stages. Became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of RUM IN THE SUN near the 500 metres and had to be steadied.
RUM IN THE SUN - driver J Cox was spoken to regarding using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
PRINCE TEKA - crowded just prior to the start by ARRAN CHIEF which continued to shift inwards with driver K Cameron being tipped out of the sulky after the tapes were released with the trailing NAVARA being severely checked. Mr Cameron was examined by St John personnel and cleared of injury. A request for a Ruling was lodged with the JCA to determine whether both PRINCE TEKA and NAVARA had been denied a fair start. After hearing evidence from all parties and viewing the replays the JCA ruled that both horses be declared non-runners.
ARRAN CHIEF - shifted inwards just prior to the start crowding PRINCE TEKA. Continued to shift inwards as the start was effected resulting in K Cameron (PRINCE TEKA) being dislodged from the sulky. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MY MOMENT'S NOW - broke near the 200 metres.
MONRIKA - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards final bend and struck several pylons.
CLYDE - raced wide early stages.
MISSALYSSA - driver T Williams reported the mare had trotted roughly throughout and was unable to be fully driven out.
SUNDONS FLYER - shifted inwards shortly after the start and broke. Hung outwards through the middle stages. Had to be steadied near the 500 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
NAVARA - severely checked by PRINCE TEKA and lost all chance at the start. Declared a non-runner by the JCA.
DOFF YOUR CAP - hung outwards throughout the run home and shifted up the track. Driver R Close will be spoken to regarding this in the coming days.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - broke at the start. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
MAJESTIC LAVROS - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages before breaking just prior to the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 870(5) alleging the horse was lapped on by DOFF YOUR CAP and B D YASOTHON. After hearing evidence from Stewards and trainer M Jones, the JCA upheld the protest and MAJESTIC LAVROS was relegated to 3rd place.
Driver R Close (DOFF YOUR CAP) was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
Trainer M Jones advised Stewards on 1 November that MAJESTIC LAVROS has had its hocks injected since last racing.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to the protest and the request for rulings in the previous race.
MOSSMAN - paced roughly in the early stages. Held up for a distance passing the 100 metres.
STEPHS BOY - briefly crowded shortly after the start. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver R May reported the horse had become stirred up by the delay to the start of the race.
EASTWOOD ISABELLA - lay outwards in the early stages and had to be steadied.
ASHES TO ASHES - struck pylons on the final bend when weakening.
RIVEERED - raced wide early stages.
DELIGHTFUL DUDE - lay inwards when improving wide on the track through the middle stages.
BRAEVIEW KELLY - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Authorisation of 2nd place was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
