Race 6 - WAITAKI REFRIGERATION LTD TROT
Trainer B Williamson advised Stewards on 22 September that blood tests taken from JAGUAR BAY revealed a high white cell count with the mare being treated necessitating her scratching from today's engagement.

Race 1   WINTON WORKOUTS COMMITTEE MOBILE TROT
JACCKA JEORGE - made contact with the mobile barrier arm in the score-up and broke, losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - placed in tight quarters rounding the first bend when SAGE TROUBLE shifted inwards when insufficiently clear, resulting in MISS BAMBOOCHA contacting the sulky wheel and breaking, losing its chance.
SAGE TROUBLE - shifted inwards rounding the first bend when insufficiently clear of MISS BAMBOOCHA which contacted the sulky wheel and broke. Junior driver M Hurrell with the assistance of senior horseman C Ferguson admitted driving carelessly at this stage of the race. After viewing replays and hearing penalty submissions the JCA imposed a suspension of Mr Hurrell's junior horseman's licence from the 2nd October up to and including the 8th October (3 days)
ONLY ONE WAY - driver M Williamson reported he did not activate any gear applied due to the gelding trotting roughly over the concluding stages.
Race 2   ALISTER KYLE BUILDER MOBILE PACE
MIGHTY GEORGE - held up rounding the final bend. Shifted ground inwards in the home straight to obtain clear racing room.
MAN I'M GOOD - over-raced in the middle stages prior to shifting out to race in the parked position near the1300 metres. Briefly hampered by a tiring runner rounding the final bend.
MAJOR MENACE - raced wide into the first bend prior to being restrained to obtain cover. Weakened rounding the final bend. Driver N Williamson was questioned regarding the tactics he adopted as the start was effected when restraining the mare, which had previously shown gate speed when drawn handy. Mr Williamson explained his intention was to go forward however the mare was unable to muster early speed and so he elected to restrain rather than be caught three-wide through the early stages.
LOCK IT IN EDDIE - raced three-wide without cover from the 900 metres.
Race 3   SWEET LOU AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
ALLABOUT TIME - co-trainer K Barclay was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 when presenting this runner without the notified removable deafeners. Improved three-wide passing the 900 metres, then paced roughly and broke losing its chance. Driver K Barclay reported the filly had paced roughly on various occasions during the running.
EXPRESSIVE LOVE - had the Boring Pole removed prior to the start due to the gelding warming up unfavourably. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Orange. Raced wide into the first bend prior to being restrained to obtain cover. Broke passing the 200 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
JAFFIE J - hung outwards and paced roughly rounding the first bend.
Race 4   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
The start of this race was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to PORT AU PRINCE requiring farrier attention around at the start.
SPORTSCAM - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Cox. Mr Cox reported he had sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
THE KINGSMAN - held up rounding the final bend.
NEW YORK MAN - unable to obtain clear racing room throughout the home straight.
NGAROMA - broke in the score-up losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver M Williamson reported he would be recommending gear changes.
DANCINGFORMONEY - forced to race four-wide passing the 1050 metres.
BIG BAY - raced three-wide without cover from the 1350 metres. Weakened rounding the final bend.
BELLE'S BOY - broke briefly in the score-up and was out of position at the start. Over-raced on various occasions during the running. Improved outwards passing the 1050 metres forcing DANCINGFORMONEY wider on the track. Driver B Wallace will be spoken to in the coming days regarding the manner he drove at this stage of the race.
STARS N BARS - raced wide into the first bend.
SENTRY - raced three-wide without cover from the 1500 metres until reaching the parked position near the 1200 metres.
Race 5   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
HER MAJESTY - weakened rounding the final bend.
SLY TRICKS - briefly held up rounding the final bend.
TARTAN ROXY - improved three-wide without cover from the 1300 metres until reaching the parked position near the 1000 metres.
TAUMALOLO - weakened rounding the final bend.
KENNINGTON GIRL - driver T Robertson was issued with a warning for the manner he used his whip on a runner out of contention.
Following the running of this event the official track conditions were downgraded to Slushy.
Race 6   BETTORS DELIGHT AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
SWELL TIME - over-raced in the score-up. Held up rounding the final bend.
BARDOT - over-raced in the score-up. Raced wide into the first bend.
Race 7   WHAT THE HILL AT WOODLANDS STUD GOLD CHIP FINAL TROT
MIDNIGHT MEMORIES - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
SACRED MOUNTAIN - shifted down the track over the concluding stages.
IT'S SUMMERTIME - tangled away. Broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Again broke passing the 400 metres. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
THE NIGHT SWEATS - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend and broke briefly in consequence when taking evasive action.
MAUDARCHY - delayed the start.
CODY BANNER - raced wide rounding the final bend. Shifted down the track under pressure over the concluding stages.
SVELT - weakened from the 750 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer A Wohlers advised that he would take bloods from the mare and advise Stewards in the comings days of the results.
HELLUVA WAY - cleared from the Unruly for future standing start engagements.
MR OLYMPUS - slow to begin. Broke passing the 1500 metres, proving difficult for driver R McIlwrick to return the gelding to its correct gait. Again broke passing the 400 metres.
Trainer A Wohlers advised Stewards on 29 September that SVELT is being treated for a minor tie up issue. After this treatment has concluded the mare will have some feed and work changes for the continuation of her campaign.
Race 8   MITRE 10 WINTON MOBILE PACE
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - held up rounding the final bend.
FRANCO SANTINO - raced wide into the first bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised in his opinion the entire may not have backed up from its previous start at Oamaru on the 20th September.
Trainer N Williamson has notified Stewards that FRANCO SANTINO has had its medial patellar ligaments split since its last start.
Race 9   LATHER UP AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
HURRICANE BANNER - raced ungenerously on various occasions during the running.
AIRWAVES - raced wide into the first bend.
BRIGHTEST MOMENT - when questioned regarding the performance junior driver M Hurrell advised the mare had got too far back in the running and could not make up ground on the fast pace.
RAH DE RAH - raced wide rounding the first bend before being restrained to take cover. Weakened from the 500 metres.
IVANA LEGACY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Armour.
MAAHES - raced four-wide rounding the final bend before weakening.
Race 10   SPEEDING SPUR AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE TROT
KING CASSIDY - held up for clear racing room in the early to middle stages of the home straight.
ZONED SCARLETT - locked sulky stays with CHLOE ROSE for some distance early in the home straight then briefly shifted down the track.
CHLOE ROSE - locked sulky stays with ZONED SCARLETT for some distance early in the home straight. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the mare had been very disappointing. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
DE VITO - raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.
RYDGEMONT SON - raced inside track markers over the concluding stages when directed inwards by ZONED SCARLETT which shifted ground when locking sulky stays. Following the running of this event Stewards lodged a Protest into 4th placing being awarded alleging RYDGEMONT SON had gained an advantage by racing inside pylons for 70 metres in the final straight. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from driver B Williamson and the Stewards the JCA ruled RYDGEMONT SON had not gained an advantage and subsequently dismissed the Protest.
HUMBLE LADD - raced wide into the first bend. Driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to the gelding trotting roughly over the concluding stages.
SUNDONS WISH - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Out of position at the start. Broke passing the 400 metres losing its chance.
Race 11   AMERICAN IDEAL AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
DYNAMITE - raced in the parked position through the middle stages. Attempted to be shifted wider on the track entering the final bend making contact with an inside runner and briefly breaking as a result. When questioned regarding the gelding breaking driver J Cox advised that DYNAMITE had not reacted when being shifted out by an inside runner at this point. Weakened from the 500 metres finishing in a distant last placing. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a suffered a small superficial abrasion to the left hind leg.
TAD LINCOLN - briefly hampered by breaking runner, leaving the back straight.
OPAWA MACH - briefly hampered by breaking runner, leaving the back straight.
HAZER - over-raced in the score-up and on various other occasions during the running. Raced wide into the first bend. Held up by a tiring runner rounding the final bend. Broke passing the 150 metres free of interference.
