SONIC REIGN - out of position at the start. Driver N Munro was issued with a warning.

ARDEE TROUBLE - fractious behind the barriers.
Trainer J Thomas advised Stewards on 16 July that SHPEEDY has recovered in good fashion following its disappointing run at Addington last week where it was forced to do some work and over raced in the running. Mr Thomas added that where possible the mare will be driven with a sit in its upcoming engagements.

FRANK THE TANK - Stewards spoke to driver C DeFilippi regarding an incident with a round to go when he moved from the parked position to the lead causing MAGICOL IDEAL to have to be restrained. After hearing from Mr DeFilippi he was reminded of his obligations to ensure he was fully clear of a runner when shifting inwards. When questioned regarding the performance, Mr DeFilippi advised he had to work hard to get from the parked position to the lead at the 1400 metres which had affected the horse's ability to finish the race off strongly.
Race 4   STORER MOTORS JUNIOR DRIVERS PACE
ANNA BARCLAY - slow to begin. Raced very roughly passing the 1600 metres. Broke passing the 1200 metres losing its chance. Race 6   ALLIED SECURITY 2YO MOBILE TROT
EUROKASH - Stewards questioned driver B Hope regarding the manner in which he drove between the 100 metres and the 50 metres where he was viewed not to place his runner under any significant pressure. Mr Hope explained that immediately prior to this portion of the race he had been left very disappointed with the colts performance. He said that he had expected to win the race however his runner had proved lethargic throughout and failed to respond to his urgings. Mr Hope added that he had been easily headed by FRANCO JORIK near the 100 metres and expected to be easily beaten out of 4th place but that horse had eased after going past him and so he attempted to encourage his horse but in his opinion it had not responded. Mr Hope also explained the horse was excreting nasal discharge following the race and the stable intended to have a course of treatment commenced for an obvious illness. After considering the matter Mr Hope was reminded not to leave any room for question in the manner in which he drives. A post race veterinary examination showed the horse to be displaying the early signs of a respiratory infection.
ROYAL DEL - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
LA REINA DEL SUR - switched to a pace at the 1250 metres losing its chance.
