Race 1   WEBSTAR - LEADERS IN "PRESSING ON" MOBILE PACE
AKARANA PRINCE - paced roughly for several strides when shifting an outside runner wider near the 350 metres.
PETER FORSBERG - lay in rounding the turn approaching the 1800 metres. Continued to lay in at various stages.
COMEDY ACT - briefly contested for a position in the one out running line approaching the winning post the first time and paced roughly for several strides. Junior Driver F Schumacher was cautioned in relation to the manner in which he drove in this incident. Weakened final stages.
RAINBOW WIRI - commenced to give ground near the 600 metres. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
TO SIR WITH LOVE - lay in at various stages and in particular rounding the bends. Driver S Phelan reported that he had not activated the deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 2   "AHH GIMME THAT SCHWEPPES" MOBILE PACE
EAGLE WATCH - held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home.
Race 3   LONESTAR ALEXANDRA PARK OPENS NEXT MONTH HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed by 3 minutes due to a shoe on MOLLY BONES having to be renailed.
ANDITOVER - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
XEBEC - trotted roughly under pressure near the 100 metres and could not be fully tested.
KENNY'S DREAM - broke passing the 400 metres losing its chance.
BORDEAUX - inconvenienced by a breaking runner approaching the 350 metres and trotted roughly for several strides losing ground.
Race 4   DAWSON HARFORD LTD - RACING ON MOBILE PACE
MILITARY MAN - held up final turn.
EUPHORIA - paced roughly shortly after the start and broke inconveniencing a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the colt's mobile barrier manners.
DOC HOLLIDAY - raced three wide early.
PRINCE OF PLEASURE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
Race 5   PGG WRIGHTSON - SUPPORT OUR F&M MOBILE PACE
JODY DIREEN - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
GLADAMARE - driver B Mangos advised that he pulled a flat sulky tyre from the 600 metres after it deflated.
DINA BROWN - lay in and paced roughly passing the 300 metres when attempting to improve wide.
LENIZE - taken out to a three wide position briefly passing the 1400 metres after TEMPO ROSE had shifted away from the marker line forward of LENIZE which was then eased back down in to a one out position.
TIGER SWIFT - Junior Driver F Schumacher was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he drove entering and rounding the first turn when attempting to maintain a position in the one out running line when not in a position to do so which resulted in TIGER SWIFT & GLADAMARE locking wheels for some strides. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare sustained a minor abrasion to the near hind leg.
Race 6   HR FISKEN & SONS LTD - HOT TO TROT HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed after LUCK OF THE MOMENT breasted the front barrier. A false start was then declared when RECYCLE and SAFRAKOVA locked wheels just prior to the barriers being released.
CYCLONE S ADAMS - lay out racing through the straights. Shifted outwards approaching the 150 metres and contacted DAISY HILL which broke.
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - broke at the start losing its chance.
DAISY HILL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Lay in rounding the final turn. Checked and broke approaching the 150 metres. Stewards questioned drivers J Dickie (DAISY HILL) and S Butcher (CYCLONE S ADAMS) in relation to this incident and it was established that although CYCLONE S ADAMS shifted ground outwards abruptly, DAISY HILL had contributed by being badly on one rein and no further action was deemed necessary.
Race 7   JACOBSEN HEADSTONES MOBILE PACE
ABOVE N BEYOND - held up final turn.
WARLOCH - held up final turn.
WAINUI CREEK - led early and then trailed from the 1600 metres before attempting to use the passing lane in the run home to finish in 3rd place beaten 1.7 lengths. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Phelan stated that the mare had been out sprinted with the final 400 metres being run in 26.8 seconds.
ON THE CARDS - raced three wide early before improving to lead approaching the 1600 metres.
Race 8   CROMBIE LOCKWOOD BLOODSTOCK - GO GIRLS GO MOBILE PACE
DIXIE REIGN - paced roughly passing the 400 metres when leading.
DRAGON TATTOO - out of position over the latter stages of the score up. Driver G Wolfenden was warned to maintain his position until dispatch in the future.
JOHN WAYNE - lost ground near the 450 metres when at the rear before finishing on over the final stages.
ALTA MADEIRA - weakened from the 500 metres.
SUNSET RED - broke entering the first turn but soon settled at the rear.
Race 9   NZ HORSE AMBULANCE TRUST - "B'COS WE CARE" TROT (STAND)
MOUNT ASPIRING - driver S Phelan reported that he elected not to activate the deafeners and could not drive the gelding out due to it trotting roughly.
MORGANA - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after being involved in an incident in the stabling area and was cleared to start. Broke passing the 750 metres settling towards the rear. Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse's Regulation.
UNCLE LOUIS - broke at the start losing considerable ground before catching the field near 400 metres. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 300 metres before contacting and dislodging marker pegs.
CONSTELLATION - broke passing the 400 metres losing its chance.
JUST PLAIN LUCKY - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Dislodged a marker peg near the 250 metres.
RUBY RIDGE - Junior Driver S Rapley, assisted by D McGowan, was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly with regard to her starting position.
CHINSKI - mixed its gait over the early stages losing considerable ground.
Race 10   MAGNESS BENROW SIRES STAKES 2YOF (H1) MOBILE PACE
POLKA DELIGHT - back a length at dispatch.
SHOW ME HEAVEN - paced roughly shortly after the start. Raced keenly middle stages.
