DINA BROWN - lay in and paced roughly passing the 300 metres when attempting to improve wide. | |
LENIZE - taken out to a three wide position briefly passing the 1400 metres after TEMPO ROSE had shifted away from the marker line forward of LENIZE which was then eased back down in to a one out position. | |
TIGER SWIFT - Junior Driver F Schumacher was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he drove entering and rounding the first turn when attempting to maintain a position in the one out running line when not in a position to do so which resulted in TIGER SWIFT & GLADAMARE locking wheels for some strides. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare sustained a minor abrasion to the near hind leg. |

DAISY HILL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Lay in rounding the final turn. Checked and broke approaching the 150 metres. Stewards questioned drivers J Dickie (DAISY HILL) and S Butcher (CYCLONE S ADAMS) in relation to this incident and it was established that although CYCLONE S ADAMS shifted ground outwards abruptly, DAISY HILL had contributed by being badly on one rein and no further action was deemed necessary. |

Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse's Regulation. | |
