Race 9 - LIVAMOL WITH BIOWORMA MOBILE PACE
Trainer B Purdon advised Stewards on 18 December that blood tests taken from BALL OF ART following its disappointing performance at Alexandra Park on Saturday revealed no abnormalities with the gelding continuing with its current preparation.

Race 1   PGG WRIGHTSON STANDARDBRED MOBILE PACE
A BETTER DANCER - beaten for early speed and then lost further ground rounding the first turn. Checked near the 500m.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - checked and broke near the 500m. Junior Driver K Bublitz, assisted by T Mitchell, was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he drove approaching the 600m.
TO SIR WITH LOVE - broke near the 500m checking the trailing BENJAMIN BUTTON, which broke, and A BETTER DANCER, which had to take evasive action. Junior Driver L Whittaker, assisted by P Ferguson, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly approaching the 500m by allowing his mare to contact the sulky of PETER FORSBERG causing TO SIR WITH LOVE to break with resultant interference to the trailing runners. The JCA suspended Mr Whittaker's Junior Drive'rs licence after the completion of racing on 24 December 2019 upto and including 31 December 2019 (2 days).
GOLDEN QUEST - Trainer T Herlihy was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice and a $100 fine imposed for presenting the mare with deafeners that were not notified.
RUNCLE - caught three wide early and then obliged to remain three wide after FLYING STEPS improved out onto its back near the 1100m.
PETER FORSBERG - weakened final turn. Junior Driver J Cowden, assisted by J Abernethy, was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he drove over the early stages when contesting for the lead. Mr Cowden was also spoken to advisedly regarding his posture in the sulky.
FLYING STEPS - raced three wide with cover from the 1100m.
Race 2   MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
COMEDY ACT - paced roughly approaching the 250m. Checked late in the run home by a breaking runner.
BET WEST - raced three wide early.
SHANROAD - raced three wide from the 1200m.
MANHATTAN SUNSHINE - lay in and paced roughly at the start. Held up final turn and throughout the home straight.
DOCTOR LOVE - raced three wide from the 1200m.
DAMETORO - held up final turn and early stages of the run home. Broke passing the 50m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
Race 3   BLACK DOG FURNITURE TROT
THE LAST GAMBLE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MACKERELLI - broke near the 2300m and was taken inside the marker pegs to avoid the trailing runners before settling at the rear. Tired final stages.
KEYSTONE CAVALIER - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
TOPNOTCH TITAN - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke near the 450m losing its chance.
OUR SPITFIRE - broke near the 100m and failed to settle. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA for breaking in excess of 50m in the final 200m. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
Race 4   SMYTHE CONTRACTORS MOBILE PACE
MISS SHUGA - raced three wide early and middle stages before crossing to race outside the leader near the 1400m.
NEW FRONTIER - lay in late in the score up and was back from position at dispatch.
LUCY'S BADBOY - held up final turn and then had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.
SHEZA KAMIKAZE - had to be steadied off the back of BROOKIES JAFFA near the 600m after having shifted three wide.
BLAKE - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field throughout. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record.
Race 5   O'CONNOR WARREN INSURANCE BROKERS MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN LOVELY - held up final turn.
QUICK AS FIRE - caused a false start at the second attempt when galloping early in the score up checking several other runners. Junior Driver F Schumacher elected to retain his barrier position for the restart. No action was taken in relation to this gelding's barrier manners given the first false start. Broke briefly passing the 700m checking several trailing runners. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
LADY SANTANNA - sulky contacted near the 1600m and pulled a flat tyre thereafter. Checked near the 700m losing ground.
BETTOR TRENZ - raced three wide with cover from the 1300m.
IDEAL AGENT - raced three wide early and middle stages before crossing to race outside the leader at the 1200m.
LIVE REACTOR - caused a false start at the first attempt when refusing to score up checking a second line runner. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record. Driver S Phelan elected to maintain his barrier position for the restart. Raced three wide early and middle stages before crossing to race outside the leader at the 1400m.
VENETO - raced fiercely entering the back straight on the first occasion contacting the sulky of LADY SANTANNA. Continued to over-race during the middle stages.
MCDAKNIFE -raced three wide from the 1400m. Weakened final bend.
Race 6   BetaVet PREMIUM NATURAL SOLUTIONS HCP TROT
ANNA KATE - Driver D Ferguson advised that he did not activate the deafeners due to having the field covered.
LUKYANOVA - held up early in the run home.
GREY STOKE - broke approaching the 2400m and galloped excessively when trailing the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
NEED LUCK - raced without cover from inside the 1000m. Lay in rounding the final turn and only battled in the run home.
LOVELY BUNDY - Driver P Ferguson reported that the mare cast its off hind shoe during the running. Held up briefly leaving the back straight the final time.
GERSHWIN - raced three wide from the 950m and was under pressure thereafter before finishing at the rear. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
Race 7   POOL BUILDERS WAIKATO MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed by approximately 4 minutes due to the sulky on THE LONE RANGER having to be replaced.
IM A DENNY TOO - raced three wide early.
CATCH THE DREAM - held up early final turn.
RACKETEERS BOY - held up early in the run home.
ARMED REACTOR - held up early final turn.
PARKER - Driver S Quill admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted under Clause (b) of the 'Use of the Whip Regulations' and was fined $200 by the JCA. Mr Quill was fined a further $300 for breaching Clause (h) of the 'Use of the Whip Regulations' by using his whip with undue force in the run home.
Race 8   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN MAX - Driver S Quill was shown the replay and spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he drove entering the back straight on the first occasion when shifting out to lead up the one out running line. Lay in under pressure near the 50m and had to be corrected.
MIGHTY MONICA - lay in at various stages and in particular rounding the final turn when weakening and contacted marker pegs. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
BELLA ROZA - held up final turn and throughout the home straight. Driver S Phelan reported that he had not activate the deafeners as a result.
Race 9   SEE YOU CHRISTMAS EVE TROT
MAJESTIC HARRY - slow to begin.
STRENGTH OF HEART - broke shortly after the start and galloped a distance before settling. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until it was confirmed the horse had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
REIGN - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
EXPENSIVE CRUMPET - an investigation was opened and adjourned into the notified gear worn by the filly.
CEPHEUS - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
ISA THE GREAT - Co-trainers J & M Teaz were warned for presenting the gelding without the notified Pacifier. Broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke passing the 1700m and then again near the 1200m losing its chance.
