Race 2 - HYDROFLOW 'CUP DAY MAIDEN' MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer M Jones advised Stewards on 15 November that DENY EVERYTHING is being treated for a respiratory infection following its disappointing performance on Tuesday. Mr Jones added that the gelding will be scoped before resuming its racing campaign.
Race 4 - GAZE COMMERCIAL JUNIOR FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE PACE)
Trainer M Kerr advised Stewards on 15 November that A BETTOR ACT has been sent for a spell.
Race 9 - AVON CITY FORD MOBILE PACE
Driver J Keast (ASCALABUS) was issued with a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Use of Whip Reg (h) alleging he had used his whip with undue force over the final 400 metres. In taking this action Stewards gave particular regard to the previous warnings on Mr Keast's record. Mr Keast admitted the breach and his Horseman's Licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 15 November up to and including 1 December 2019 (5 days).
Race 10 - CHRISTCHURCH CASINO NEW ZEALAND TROTTING CUP (STAND PACE)
Trainer B Purdon advised Stewards on 15 November that MACH SHARD was found to have jarred up badly on Tuesday and has since been treated. Mr Purdon added that at this stage it is the intention that the gelding will continue with an Inter-dominion campaign.
Race 11 - DRYMIX CEMENT TROT
Trainer P Williamson advised Stewards on 15 November that SPRINGBANK LACHIE appears to have recovered well following its disappointing performance on Tuesday and will return to trials before resuming.
Trainer J Howe advised Stewards on 15 November that PHOEBE ONYX has recovered well following its disappointing performance on Tuesday and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 12 - BLUE STAR TAXIS MOBILE PACE
Trainer G Smith advised Stewards on 15 November that in consequence of its disappointing performance on Tuesday GOD ONLY KNOWS will be given a brief freshen up.

Race 1   METROPOL MOBILE TROT
AMERICAN PRIDE - trotted roughly and was out of position at the start. Driver T Williams reported it was the gelding's first mobile without the blinds on and it had raced greenly as a result.
MIKEMARO - when questioned regarding the performance, driver J Curtin reported the gelding had raced greenly throughout and baulked at objects on the inside and outside of the track throughout. Trainer R Austin reported the gelding to have raced slightly below his expectation but could offer no explanation.
FLYIN MANDY - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after starting at Ashburton yesterday and was cleared to start. Broke late in the score up losing considerable ground. Again broke near the 700 metres.
CRUSHER COLLINS - held up in the early stages of the run home.
QUAESTOR - out of position at the start. Broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Raced wide from the 700 metres.
MAJESTIC CHEVRON - out of position at the start.
RACHMANINOV - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after starting at Ashburton yesterday and was cleared to start. Out of position at the start.
WANDERING STAR - trotted roughly through the middle stages. Gave ground from near the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
MILLY AN EYRE - raced keenly through the middle stages.
Race 2   PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT MOOLOOLABA MOBILE TROT
NEVER MIND - broke after 100 metres.
SUGAR CANE - broke in the score up losing considerable ground.
ONLY ONE WAY - broke after 200 metres.
ONE OVER DA SON - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position as a result.

TAIRLAW TOLL - raced wide from the 800 metres.
ROCKABILLY BLUES - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver N Williamson advised the mare had felt lethargic in the score up and despite having to race wide over the final stages he had been left disappointed by her efforts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE - raced roughly when being restrained in the early stages.
MACH'S BACK - broke when leaving the pre-race circle losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
Race 4   G.K. FYFE PAINTING HANDICAP TROT
RENEZMAE - held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
PRES THE BELLE - trotted roughly in the early stages.
RONALD J - trotted roughly and broke near the 400 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, driver G O'Reilly advised the horse to have hung throughout causing him some difficulty. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 5   GRAPHITE DEVELOPMENTS SHOW DAY FUTURITY MOBILE PACE
BOSSMARO - broke in the score up checking a runner on the second line with a false start being declared. Driver J Curtin elected to move to the unruly position for the re-start where the gelding will remain for future mobile events.
STUNIN MAGIC - underwent a veterinary examination prior to the re-start after having blood in its mouth and was cleared to start.
ASCALABUS - raced wide early stages. Broke after being shifted wider at the top of the straight and becoming awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of SCORCHA. When questioned regarding this, driver J Keast advised his horse had hung inwards which had contributed to the horse breaking.
MATT DAMON - raced wide early stages.
ARDEN ROANOKE - improved wide passing the 1000 metres but peaked on its run approaching the 700 metres and compounded soon after being distanced over the final stages. When questioned regarding the performance, driver A Butt was unable to offer any explanation. Co-trainer C Dalgety advised the gelding had begun scouring on returning to the stables and it was his intention to send the horse for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SAM'S TOWN - checked in the score up with a false start declared.
Race 6   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
BETTATHANFAST - lay inwards racing into the first bend having to be steadied.
JAZZY STAR - raced wide early stages.
HEISENBERG - lay inwards racing into the first bend having to be steadied. Raced wide early stages.
Race 7   PEEK EXHIBITION - ALF HUGHES MEMORIAL MOBILE TROT
TAKE AFTER ME - held up for clear running until the 150 metres.
CALL ME TROUBLE - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground.
DOFF YOUR CAP - trotted roughly then broke in the score up losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the trainer's request.
ZSA ZOE - raced keenly when being restrained in the early stages. Broke briefly at the 300 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DIANA HARBOUR - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground.
RITEUR - broke late in the score up losing considerable ground.
MATUA TANA - broke at the 1100 metres losing its chance.
Race 8   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP PACE
DOCTOR TIM - broke at the start. Sulky wheel contacted and punctured at the 1100 metres. Weakened from the 500 metres.
FRANCO NIVEN - broke at the start. Over-raced middle stages.
STARS TONIGHT - broke at the start.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - Driver S Wiseman was fined $250 after admitting driving carelessly near the 1100 metres when striking and puncturing the sulky wheel of DOCTOR TIM.
NANDOLO - broke at the start.
Race 9   AIRPARK CANTERBURY DOMINION (STAND TROT)
The field was turned away to readdress the barriers when the overcheck on MONTY PYTHON was displaced.
MARCOOLA - lay inwards under pressure on the final bend and struck track markers. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver S Tomlinson advised she had elected to improve earlier than she anticipated she would have to, to avoid being caught four deep on the marker line. Miss Tomlinson added that once reaching the lead near the 2000 metres the horse had raced keener than what she preferred which she felt had taken its toll over the final stages.
AMARETTO SUN - broke at the start losing its chance.
HABIBI INTA - fractious behind the barriers and despite the efforts of driver B Orange lunged at the tapes.
MONTY PYTHON - hampered by a weakening runner between the 800 metres and the 700 metres.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - weakened approaching the 400 metres.
THE DOMINATOR - broke after 100 metres losing its chance.
MCLOVIN - when questioned regarding the gelding's performance, driver K Gath felt her horse had been unsuited to the fast tempo set over the first mile which had ultimately taken its toll over the final stages. Trainer A Gath added that the gelding had potentially been unsuited to the two miles, noting that this was his runner's first attempt at this distance. A post-race veterinary examination showed MCLOVIN to be suffering from the thumps and was treated by the on course Veterinarian.
VALLORIA - lunged at the barriers and could not be restrained by J Dunn causing a delay. Broke after 125 metres. Continued on in a gallop for approximately 180 metres and was disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA.
DESTINY JONES - gave ground near the 800 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and some nasal discharge, with treatment administered for a respiratory infection. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
MAJESTIC MAN - gave ground at the 400 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver B Williamson reported the gelding to have travelled lethargically throughout and he had been disappointed with his efforts. Trainer P Williamson advised he too had been disappointed with his horse's efforts and felt the gelding may not have backed up from its Cup Day run. He further added that he intended to have the horse checked out by his own Veterinarian in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards of any irregularities.
BORDEAUX - broke at the 2800 metres. Again broke near the 2100 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
WOODSTONE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner at the 2800 metres. Broke at the 2100 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
OSCAR BONAVENA - hampered when attempting to shift around a breaking runner and broke at the 2800 metres.
Race 10   NEVELE R SIRES' STAKES SOUTHERN MARES CLASSIC MOBILE PACE
SWEET LORESS - held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner.
ANAMAJOR - held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner.
NEMERA FRANCO - a post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with connections in the coming days.
NAKURU - weakened on the final bend. When spoken to regarding the mare's performance, driver J Dunn advised he felt she had failed to back up from her race on Cup Day.
SWEET MARY - lay inwards through the final straight causing the mare to have some difficulty obtaining clear racing room.
BETTOR'S HEART - raced wide in the early and middle stages.
CHANGE IS GOOD - trainer M Kerr was warned after being late to notify CHANGE IS GOOD would be racing with blinds.
KENDRA - when questioned regarding the performance, driver R May advised he was disappointed with the effort. Co-trainer G Hope advised he would have blood tests taken and undertook to notify the results to Stewards.
SAMSKARA - late scratching on veterinary advice due to being lame after completing its preliminary. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
Race 11   WOODLANDS NZ PACING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE PACE)
CHASE AUCKLAND - driver T Williams was spoken to regarding his flourish of the whip over the final stages which caused the trailing CRUZ BROMAC to baulk at his whip.
HENRY HUBERT - inconvenienced after 100 metres.
A G'S WHITE SOCKS - pre-race warmed. Inconvenienced after 100 metres. Paced roughly rounding the final bend and broke at the 250 metres. Driver R May could only explain the gallop had been very uncharacteristic. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CRUZ BROMAC - broke after 100 metres. Driver B Orange explained the gelding had been striking its wheel discs in the early stages. Held up throughout the final straight and was not able to be fully tested at any stage.
Race 12   XCM SPORT MOBILE PACE
BELMONT MAJOR - held up until near the 100 metres at which point the colt shifted inwards to obtain clear racing room. Driver M Purdon was questioned regarding his lack of vigour over the final 60 metres (beaten out of 4th by a nose) and after Stewards considered his explanation was issued with a charge in that he did not drive his horse out when holding a reasonable chance of placing. Mr Purdon admitted the breach and was fined $300.
LETS HUSTLE - driver R Close will be spoken to regarding the manner he shifted ground on the final bend.
WILLISON - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver S Ottley explained the gelding had been unsuited to racing parked throughout and in her opinion performed best when able to be driven with cover.
SOUNDSLIKEART - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Over-raced middle stages. Hung outwards near the 350 metres and had to be steadied and shortly after raced in restricted room when LETS HUSTLE shifted ground outwards forcing BELMONT MAJOR wider, again having to be steadied. Lay outwards through the final straight.
