THAT'S THE STORY - when spoken to regarding the performance of the gelding Trainer/Driver B Williamson advised that the horse had been unsuited to the longer distance of tonight's race and felt the gelding would derive considerable benefit from the race. |

Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 12 July that LIGHTFOOT LADY had returned to his stable with nasal discharge and a cough. Mr Cox added that the mare would be treated and sent for a spell. |

LITTLE RAIN - weakened round the final bend. Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule passing the 1300 metres when DREAMINSOVER raced wider on the track. After reviewing the films it was established that DREAMINSOVER had not been progressing forward when LITTLE RAIN shifted outwards therefore no further action was required. | |
