Race 4 - FASTTRACK INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
Stewards spoke with driver M Hurrell regarding the breaking of TIGER MOTH near the 1600 metres. After hearing from Mr Hurrell, a warning was placed on the racing record of TIGER MOTH.
Race 6 - LONE STAR RICCARTON PACE
Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 2 June that TAUMALOLO was subject to a lungwash after racing at Rangiora on 26 May with this revealing some irregularities which are now being treated.

Race 7 - DUNEDIN CITY MOTORS JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
Driver K Butt (assisted by J Cox) admitted using her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations when driving I'M JIMMY JAMES. After penalty submissions, the JCA imposed a fine of $200.

Race 1   INKWISE NZ TROT
FAR FROM TRUE - broke when leading with 150 metres to run.
WINDSOR - broke at the start. Broke again near the 1800 metres.
KENSINGTON BILL - trotted roughly and hung outwards at the start.
PRESTISSIMO - trotted roughly at the start before breaking in the early stages when placed in restricted room.
NEVER MIND - driver J Geddes admitted using his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations and after penalty submissions, the JCA suspended Mr Geddes Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 23 June 2019 (6 days).
DD'S SUPER STUART - broke shortly after the start.
TEARS OF JOY - broke after 200 metres.
MAJESTIC SUNSET - broke after 150 metres. Trotted roughly and broke again on several occasions during the running. Driver T Chmiel reported the gelding had cast a shoe during the running. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a minor laceration on the near fore heel.
PIPER MOSS - broke after 100 metres.
CHASING GREAT - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
SPY DA MOMENT - broke at the start.
IT WASN'T ME - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 2   STEWART & HOLLAND MOBILE PACE
VULCAN STAR(AUS) - held up early stages of the run home. When spoken to regarding the improved performance, trainer R Todd advised the gelding had been working well and he was confident of a forward showing.
PERAKI LINCOLN - hung outwards when leading near the 1400 metres despite the efforts of driver N Purdon resulting in NICOLE being forced wider. Stood down pending one satisfactory trial.
I AM ADALINE - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Raced wide early stages. The connections advised the filly will be sent for a spell.
ONSPEED - raced wide around the first bend. Over-raced when being restrained through the early stages.
NICOLE - over-raced through the early stages. Checked near the 1400 metres and forced to race three wide. Weakened final bend.
GOTTAGETTABEER - raced wide around the first bend.
HANDSOME HARRY - weakened leaving the final bend.
MRS WASHINGTON - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Paced roughly near the 200 metres when awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of HANDSOME HARRY which was weakening.
Following this race the track was upgraded to Good.
Race 3   SIMS BAKERY PACE
MORNINGSTAR GOLD - tangled away. Trainer/driver R Holmes reported he elected not to activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
LIGHTFOOT LADY - trainer/driver J Cox advised the mare had over-raced throughout.
THE OPTIMIST - gave ground final bend.
THE DIVA - raced wide through the early and middle stages. Weakened from the 600 metres. Driver B Laughton reported the filly had hung badly throughout causing him considerable difficulty. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
INVISIBLE GIRL - broke at the start. Broke near the 450 metres when being steadied to avoid a weakening runner.
DELIGHT OF TEXAS - broke at the start.
MISS BEHAVIN - trainer/driver G Smith reported the mare had been showing signs of muscle tie up following the race which was confirmed by the on course Veterinarian.
Race 4   AURIC ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
SCOTLYNN HARRY - held up final bend. Hung outwards in the early stages of the home straight.
CHEEZEL - held up final bend.
EXTRA GUINNESS - locked wheels with ROCKNROLL KING in the early stages of the home straight.
FORTUNE TILLER - weakened final bend.
FRANCO RIOT - raced wide in the early stages and had to be restrained towards the rear of the field.
QUEENOFDANCE - held up final bend.
THAT ALEXANDER GUY - caretaker trainer R Todd was charged a $25 colour fee.
ROCKNROLL KING - held up final bend. Raced keenly in the early stages of the home straight and locked wheels with inside runner before breaking.
Race 5   MT HUTT TROTTING CLUB TROT
TEHORO TEASE - broke at the start. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Over-raced through the middle stages. Broke with 1000 metres to run losing its chance.
MAUDARCHY - shifted outwards as the start was effected crowding outside runner. Broke racing into the first bend. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1000 metres.
FRANCO JOSIAH - placed in restricted room shortly after the start and broke. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 50 metres.
ALDEBARAN BONNY - trotted roughly in the early stages. Trotted roughly and broke near the 500 metres.
SHOW ME THE GRAY - hung inwards through the home straight.
RUTH CELESTE PETITE - placed in restricted room as the start was effected. Weakened final bend.
REDWOOD INVASION - had to be steadied shortly after the start.
DESERT WINGS - driver C DeFilippi was warned to exercise care when shifting ground shortly after the start. Held up early stages of the run home.
QUAESTOR - raced wide early and middle stages. Broke with 100 metres to run.
MIDNIGHT SIOUX - reared and fell to the track prior to the start causing a delay. Underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory standing start trial. Switched to a pace near the 1900 metres and had to be broken up by its driver.
ONE NIGHT OUT - held up by a tiring runner rounding the final bend.
BREAK OUT - held up by a tiring runner rounding the final bend.

SAGINAW - paced roughly in the home straight.
KINGSLAYER - held up early stages of the run home.

CLIFDEN CLOWERS - trotted roughly when briefly crowded by IZMOK after 100 metres.

SOME TIME - raced four wide from the 900 metres.
IZMOK - hung inwards after 100 metres briefly crowding inside runner. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
ALVIRA HEST - raced wide around the first bend.
JUSTAMOLLYARCHER - held up for the majority of the home straight. Driver A Lethaby advised the removable deafeners and sliding blinds were not activated in consequence.
GLOBE TREKKER - held up early stages of the run home.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - broke at the start.

OSCAR BONAVENA - driver T Williams advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
RUTHLESS KAYLA - raced four wide from the 900 metres.

Race 10   RD PETROLEUM MOBILE PACE
GIVEMEWHATINEED - broke in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the race. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
JAZZY STAR - late scratching on veterinary advice at 9.41am. A veterinary clearance is required prior to the gelding resuming.
PRINCE ART - raced wide around the first bend. Weakened leaving the final bend.
SELF ASSURED - driver T Williams advised the removable deafeners were not activated due to having the field covered.
DONEGAL ART CHOKIN - broke briefly in the score up however recovered to take up its allocated position at the start.
MISS PINOCCHIO - trainer/driver G Smith advised Stewards he had been disappointed with the performance and would be having blood tests taken in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results with Mr Smith.
