Trainer C Buchan (JAMIES BAD BOY) was warned for failing to affix the removable deafeners so as not to malfunction.

Race 5 - INVERCARGILL LICENSING TRUST JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
The connections of MISS FANDANGO advised Stewards on 29 May that the mare has recovered well following its run at Ascot Park last week and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 6 - BLUFF RACE DAY 3RD JUNE MOBILE PACE
Driver T Robertson was spoken to in regards to the reason LADY'S LASS was not in its position when the start was effected. After hearing Mr Robertson's explanation a warning was placed on LADY'S LASS's barrier record.

Race 2   IN APPRECIATION OF BEV MILLER FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
GLIDING PAST - lay out racing into the first bend then lay in contacting several track markers. Weakened from the 800 metres. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance.
PRECOCIOUS MEGAN - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened final bend.

BALDOON - weakened final bend.
TACT DENZEL - lay in round first bend. Hampered by weakening runner passing the 700 metres.
WECANDREAM - raced wide early stages then lay in passing the 1900 metres. Passed roughly passing the 800 metres.
PACIFIC CHAL - weakened from the 800 metres. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly.
MYNANASGOTNOTEETH - raced wide when improving from the 1200 metres.
S P F THREE - paced roughly early stages and again passing the 1200 metres. Raced wide without cover from the 700 metres.

SCARLETT LANE - held up by weakening runner from the 600 metres.
AVEROSS DON - lay in exiting final bend.
LOOK BOTH WAYS - trotted roughly and broke passing the 1600 metres. Broke leaving final bend.
GEENA'S GIRL - weakened final bend.
GRACE O'MALLEY - lay in rounding the bends throughout.
DUSKY EYRE - held up by weakening runner from the 600 metres.
BEST OF THE BUNCH - paced away briefly before being corrected to its proper gait. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

BILLY KLONDIKE - Trainer N Bishop was fined $100 for presenting the gelding in incorrect gear. Weakened from the 600 metres and then broke passing the 500 metres after shifting up the track abruptly. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
THABOYZ TOY - raced wide early stages.
AVEROSS FERRARI - broke at the start. Lay in on the bends throughout. Driver D O'Connell reported that the gelding may not have handled the track conditions.
DOUBLE RAINBOW - Driver K Barclay was cautioned for failing to advise Stewards at the earliest opportunity that she did not activate the hopple shorteners on the gelding.
Race 6   NZ HORSE TRANSPORT LTD MOBILE PACE
GABBY'S STAR - held up early stages of run home.
ANNA BARCLAY - paced roughly at various stages throughout the event with a post race Veterinary examination revealing no obvious abnormalities. Hampered by breaking runner leaving final bend.
PADDYPROUDFOOT - paced roughly at the start. Broke near the 300 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance Co-Trainer/Driver K Barclay could offer no tangible explanation.
Race 7   DUNEDIN CITY MOTORS JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
CHIEF KAPAI - lay in final bend contacting several track markers.
LETS HUSTLE - held up final bend.
IDEOLOGIST - weakened final bend. Junior Driver E Barron advised that the gelding had over raced throughout.
MY MATE BEN - held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home before breaking near the 150 metres after making contact with the sulky wheel of EDIE JACCKA when attempting a run where insufficient room existed. Junior Driver S O'Reilly (assisted by C Thornley) defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and hearing the evidence, the JCA found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $225.
LEADING THE WAY - when spoken to regarding the improved performance, the connections advised that the gelding had appreciated a drop in class and had responded well to sliding blinds being added for tonight's race.
I'M JIMMY JAMES - raced wide early stages. Driver K Butt was charged with a breach of Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations with this being adjourned by the JCA sine die.
Driver K Butt (assisted by J Cox) admitted using her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations when driving I'M JIMMY JAMES. After penalty submissions, the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
Race 8   YALDHURST HOTEL MOBILE PACE
KNOCKMANAUGH - hung inwards racing into the first bend. Lay in exiting the final bend contacting several track markers.
CLASSIE MARGARET - crowded by outside runner in the latter stages of the home straight.
TANGO DANCER - hung inwards in the latter stages of the home straight crowding inside runners.
SHARNAE - broke as the start was effected losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
KRUIZR - held up for clear racing room passing the 100 metres. Crowded by outside runner in the latter stages of the home straight.
FROSTY RECEPTION - crowded by outside runner in the latter stages of the home straight.
KANSAS CITY JIM - over raced middle stages.

DYING TO SEE YOU - weakened from the 600 metres. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
