Race 5 - TMI MARAE & RACE RACING CADETSHIP MOBILE PACE
HONOUR THE BET - Driver P Ferguson admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) & Clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations when he used his whip on more occasions that permitted driving the gelding over the final 400m. The JCA suspended his Horseman's licence from after the 31st of May 2019 up to and including the 14th of June 2019 (3 days)
MIDNIGHT MURRAY - Trainer D Butcher advised that he was no longer persevering with the gelding as a training proposition and Stewards placed a warning on its racing manners record.

Race 1   ALEXANDRA PARK IS PROUD TO SUPPORT WISH 4 FISH TROT (STAND)
PARIS UNDER SIEGE - broke at the start losing all chance.
GOLD ACHIEVER - broke approaching the 150m and settled inside the 100m. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA for breaking in excess of 50m in the final 200m.
DESERT PRINCE - broke near the 300m but soon settled. Broke inside the final 30m and failed to settle. Authorisation of the 4th placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
MINNIE BOW TIQUE - broke near the 1900m and trailed the field.
PRINCE MACKENDON - broke approaching the 1000m losing ground before settling. Authorisation of this runner's promoted 5th placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 2   FRESHER FOODS MOBILE PACE
LOUD AN PROUD - lay in rounding the bends and contacted marker pegs near the 900m.
BETTER THAN MOST - Trainer M Salaivao was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for the late notification that the gelding would be racing without the notified blinds.
T C BUSINESS - over-raced briefly during the middle stages.
FERRITTS SISTER - Driver N Chilcott advised that she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 3   BRECKON FARMS MOBILE PACE
RUBENS - over-raced middle stages.
MHAI UPTOWN GIRL - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
PEARL HARBOUR - over-raced middle stages. Held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
ANAM NUNU - lay in and paced roughly near the 400m when being shifted wider on the track and continued to lay in entering the home straight. Driver A Poutama advised that the filly had disappointed when not handling the track.
Race 4   www.one33.co.nz MOBILE PACE
VESPA - led early then trailed but weakened in the run home to finish in 8th place beaten 16.2 lengths. A post race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was displaying a high temperature and poor recovery which required treatment by the Veterinarian. A veterinary clearance will be required before resuming.
COPY THAT - broke passing the 1800m shifting wider on the track, then improved forward three wide to race outside the leader at the 1200m. A final warning was placed on the colt's racing manners record.
BILLY LINCOLN - held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home. Underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed a small laceration to the near side knee.
ARMED REACTOR - raced three wide without cover from inside the 1100m.
BRYDON EARL - raced wide rounding the final turn before finishing strongly down the outer into 3rd place beaten 3.3 lengths. Driver J Abernethy admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted under Clause (b) of the 'Use of the Whip' Regulations and was fined $200 by the JCA.
Race 5   NAUTILUS CHARTERS PROUDLY SUPPORTS WISH 4 FISH HCAP TROT
The start was delayed due to CREDIT MASTER and SUNNY GLENIS having difficulty turning to face the 20m barrier.
JOMO - became fractious after the initial delay to the start.
WESTY BOYZ - commenced to give ground inside the 1200m and was taken clear of the field before being retired from the event. A post race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in coming days.
ASH - broke near the 170m and galloped a considerable distance before settling near the 30m. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA for breaking in excess of 50m in the final 200m.
CREDIT MASTER - raced three wide for some distance during the middle stages. Tended to shift out under pressure in the run home.
PARAMOUNT KING - slow to begin. Broke near the 250m losing its chance.
C K SPUR - slow to begin.
MAJESTIC ALI - broke near the 450m losing its chance.
Race 6   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed for approx 5 minutes with the sulky JOHNNY WHITE requiring replacement.
JOHNNY WHITE - led early before taking a trail near the 1100m but was under pressure on the final turn and weakened out to finish in 8th position beaten 14.2 lengths. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
JACK TAR - raced three wide without cover from the 800m and paced roughly rounding the final turn before running on into 4th place beaten 6.7 lengths.
SPIRIT OF ANZAC - raced three wide early.
HUNTER BROMAC - held up until securing clear running passing the 100m.
RACKETEERS BOY - lay in rounding the turns.
WESTBURN YIELD - badly held up by a weakening runner rounding the final turn.
Race 7   BGP FOUNDATION - PROUDLY SUPPORTING WISH 4 FISH TROT (STAND)
SUNNYS LITTLE JESTIC - broke at the start and settled towards the rear.
AORAKI - held up early final turn.
RAVE NATION - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Was placed on the Unruly for future stands. Weakened from the 700m.
LOCKSMITH - badly held up rounding the final bend by a weakening runner and then had difficulty obtaining clear running with Driver M McKendry not activating the deafeners as a result.
TAKENOPRISONERS - over-raced badly middle stages when caught back on the inner.
VATICAN HILL - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
KAY CEE - trotted roughly approaching the first turn losing ground.
ASTOUND - broke passing the 2300m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
MAJESTIC MOMENT - raced four wide from inside the 800m before crossing to lead approaching the 450m.
Race 8   ALEXANDRA PARK MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS PARTY MOBILE PACE
NURBURGRING - Junior Driver C Smith briefly dropped his left foot from the sulky footrest when activating gear passing the 200m.
STARS DELIGHT - paced roughly final turn.
YOUNG CONQUEROR - over-raced when being restrained early.
Race 9   AUCKLAND CO-OP TAXIS 300-3000 MOBILE PACE
THE NIGHT HAWK - over-raced when being restrained rounding the first turn. Continued to over-race before being taken forward approaching the 700m.
