Race 6 - H R FISKEN & SONS 2019 ANZAC CUP (MOBILE TROT)
Trainer K Ford advised Stewards on 1 May that blood tests taken from MARCOOLA after its Anzac Cup performance revealed no abnormalities. Mr Ford added that the horse has worked well this week and will have sliding blinds added to its gear for the Rowe Cup on Friday.
Trainer T Herlihy advised Stewards on 1 May that TEMPORALE has had blood tests and veterinary checks undertaken following the gelding's performance in the Anzac Cup last week with these revealing no abnormalities. Mr Herlihy added that TEMPORALE has worked well in preparation for the Rowe Cup this Friday and in his opinion would improve with last week's run.

Race 1   SIMS PACIFIC METALS MOBILE PACE
BIT OF A TIGER - tended to lay in at various stages when trailing the leader.
MIRACLE MOOSE - lay inwards shortly after the start having to be steadied.
GAMBIT - held up on the final turn and then had some difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.
Race 2   MAJESTIC HORSE FLOATS HANDICAP TROT
FIRA - trotted roughly throughout and gave ground from the 600 metres. When spoken to regarding the mare's performance Driver M McKendry explained his horse had travelled poorly and raced roughly throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
MAGNAFIQUE - had to be steadied passing the 400 metres and broke losing its chance.
PHOEBE IMPERIAL - slow to begin losing considerable ground. Raced wide from the 700 metres.
MR GOOD AND EVIL - broke near the 250 metres losing its chance.
Trainer A Donnelly advised Stewards on 9 May that FIRA has recovered well following its disappointing performance at Alexandra Park last week adding that the mare will be restricted to left handed tracks for her immediate racing.
Race 3   2019 BRECKON FARMS NORTHERN TROTTING DERBY (MOBILE TROT)
LOTAMUSCLE - broke at the start and settled at the rear. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance Driver B Butt explained when considering the run that he received throughout, he was disappointed with the gelding's efforts over the final stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.
COUNT EYRE - trotted roughly throughout. Broke passing the 600 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
ENHANCE YOUR CALM - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed against the gelding's mobile barrier manners. The all clear was delayed until it could be confirmed this runner had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
GIL FAVOR - back throughout the score up despite the efforts of Driver P Nairn.
ANDITOVER - broke entering the first turn losing ground before settling at the rear.
RESONATE - trotted roughly passing the 300 metres losing some ground.
Trainer G Smith has advised Stewards on 12 May that SWISS MISS had blood tests that revealed that the filly was suffering from high stress. This has been treated and the filly will carry on with its current preparation.
Race 4   MAGNESS BENROW NZ SIRES STAKES 2YO FILLIES CHAMPS (MOB PACE)
TIFFANY ROSE - lay inwards throughout the score up and in the early stages. Continued to lay inwards on the first bend.
PEARL HARBOUR - over raced middle stages when towards the rear. Lay in and contacted several marker pegs rounding the final turn.
Race 5   JACOBSEN HEADSTONES MOBILE PACE
BIG ON PERSONALITY - Co-trainer John Dickie advised Stewards that his gelding had sustained a minor facial wound upon arrival on course. The gelding was examined by the Veterinarian and cleared to start.
KARMIC WAY - raced wide from the 700 metres.
GOVERNOR'S BAY - raced wide in the early and middle stages. Raced roughly for several strides near the 200 metres and had to be steadied when crowded by an inside runner.
HUNTER BROMAC - held up on the final bend.
REVOLVER - driver T Herlihy was shown the replay and spoken to regarding the manner he shifted ground near the 200 metres.
CRACKARED - lay inwards and raced roughly on the bend at the 800 metres and because of this was unable to maintain the position on the leader's back.
Race 6   2019 REHARVEST ROWE CUP (STAND START TROT)
MASSIVE METRO - broke near the 300 metres losing its chance.
TEMPORALE - broke passing the 2900 metres and failed to settle losing its chance. Trainer T Herlihy advised that it was his intention to have the gelding undergo a veterinary examination and that he would advise Stewards should anything surface that would explain the gelding's performance. Mr Herlihy further added that TEMPORALE would be freshened prior to resuming.
MONTY PYTHON - broke passing the 2900 metres. Over- raced middle stages when at the rear on the inner. Broke passing the 400 metres.
RONALD J - broke under pressure near the 200 metres.
MARCOOLA - raced three wide early. Checked by a breaking runner inside the 300 metres.
DESTINY JONES - broke at the start settling at the rear.
EVERYBODY KNOWS - weakened near the 600 metres.
SUNDEES SON - trotted roughly over the final stages.
FORGET THE PRICE TAG - broke after 100 metres losing its chance.
Race 7   2019 DAWSON HARFORD LTD NZ MESSENGER CHAMPIONSHIP (MOB PACE)
HAIL CHRISTIAN - broke passing the 300 metres losing its chance. When spoken to Driver B Orange could offer no explanation. A post race veterinary examination showed no apparent abnormality.
SPANKEM - attempted to jump near the 1700 metres having to be briefly steadied by Driver N Rasmussen.
HENRY HUBERT - raced three wide without cover from the 1050 metres. Weakened from the 400 metres.
Race 8   CROMBIE LOCKWOOD MOBILE PACE
TIGER SWIFT - over-raced through the middle stages.
SHILLELAGH - Trainer M House was fined $50 for being late to notify the addition of a pacifier. Lay in and raced roughly rounding the final turn.
CHECK IN - Trainer S Telfer was fined $100 for presenting the gelding without the notified deafeners.
Race 9   REHARVEST CUSHIONFALL TROTTING CUP HANDICAP TROT
CELTIC THUNDER - broke passing the 1800 metres losing considerable ground.
EDESIA - slow to begin.
STOW - broke passing the 250 metres losing its chance.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - weakened final turn.
SUNNYS LITTLE JESTIC - broke shortly after the start losing ground before settling at the rear.
LAURA BUSH - slow to begin.
