It was established that when Mr Hurrell pushed Mr Cox wider on the track at this stage, MATAURA B B had lay in simultaneously to NYLA laying out with both drivers immediately taking corrective action, however the sulky wheel of NYLA touched the near hind leg of MATAURA B B which broke in consequence. After interviewing both drivers and reviewing the footage Stewards could not apportion fault to any one horse or driver and accordingly took the matter no further.
