Checked and broke passing the 200m losing all chance. Stewards spoke to drivers P Davis (ORIGIN) and R Close (LADY LUCINDA) where it was established that ORIGIN had lay outwards simultaneously to LADY LUCINDA laying inwards. After viewing the replays and considering the matter Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any one horse or driver and accordingly no further action was deemed necessary. A post-race veterinary examination revealed signs of muscle tie-up. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. Trainer T Bagrie advised Stewards on 13 July that blood tests taken from DASH DOSH revealed a blood disorder and the filly will be treated and freshened prior to resuming. | |||||||||||
