		SWEET DJ - broke early in the score up however was in position at the start. Showed signs of a weepy eye on return to the tie ups with a post-race Veterinary examination at the request of connections revealing the filly to have several small superficial corneal ulcers, which were treated.

		KARDASHIAN - lay in and proved difficult to steer for driver T Robertson near the 800m, contacting several track markers. Continued to lay in when weakening rounding the final bend. Stewards questioned driver T Robertson regarding the tactics he adopted during the early and middle stages when being challenged for the lead by the favoured SHE'S A JEWEL. Mr Robertson stated that his intention was to restrain and obtain cover however due to the mare over-racing and laying in he was unable to do so, adding that when SHE'S A JEWEL (B Williamson) attempted to take the lead KARDASHIAN commenced to race fiercely proving very difficult to steer. After viewing the replays which supported Mr Robertson's explanation, Stewards took the matter no further other than to place a warning on the racing record of KARDASHIAN. Mr Robertson also advised he would be suggesting gear changes to connections. SHE'S A JEWEL - raced greenly when challenging for the lead near the 800m and then again for a distance after obtaining the lead. Stewards spoke with driver B Williamson regarding this stage of the race who confirmed that the filly had raced greenly and knocked off when attempting to gain the lead and again had dropped the bit momentarily after getting to the front.
