Stewards spoke with drivers B Williamson (HOKONUI JOEL), K Green (HEIDSIECK) and C Ferguson (BELUGA) regarding this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing the evidence it was established that HEIDSIECK had lay in marginally racing into the first bend when HOKONUI JOEL was racing greenly to its inside. After considering the evidence Stewards were unable to apportion blame to anyone horse or driver and accordingly deemed this to be a racing incident. Lay out rounding the final bend and throughout the run home. | |
