After considering his explanation, Stewards issued a charge under Rule 869(3)(g) alleging he drove in a manner capable of diminishing his chances of winning by failing to give his horse sufficient respite when continuing to apply pressure to JUBILEE ROCK which was leading through the middle stages. Mr Reekie admitted the charge and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Reekie's Amateur driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 1 September 2024 (4 months). Trainer B Mowbray advised SHE'S TOUGH has had its hocks treated since last racing.
