GIFT CARD is stood down for the mandatory period of 30 days with connections advised a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination would be required prior to the gelding completing a satisfactory trial before resuming racing.

After hearing from Miss Butt and viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied with the explanation tendered and took no further action other than to place a warning on the racing record of BETTOR WAY and note the circumstances.
