		A false start was declared at the first attempt when SO MYSTIFYING breasted the 40m tape and then swung out onto RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE prior to the barriers being released. A warning was placed on SO MYSTIFYING's barrier manners. RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE - lost ground through the back straight on the first occasion. When questioned regarding the performance Driver P Ferguson stated that the gelding had trotted roughly after resenting grit being thrown back. Mr Ferguson further stated he would be recommending gear changes for the second day.

SO MYSTIFYING - connections reported the mare would be racing in season. Trotted roughly entering the first turn losing ground and trailed the field thereafter. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.

A post-race Veterinary examination, including X-Rays revealed a fracture to the right hind fetlock which required the gelding to be humanely euthanised.
