NO ADDED SUGAR - raced wider on the track near the 1400m when JENNY GUMP shifted ground outwards. After viewing replays, it was established that driver S Walkinshaw (JENNY GUMP) had commenced his outwards movement prior to NO ADDED SUGAR reaching his sulky wheel, accordingly no further action was required. Placed in restricted room by an inside runner rounding the final bend and breaking near the 300m then locked sulky wheels with HAZER leaving the final bend and losing all chance.

BOWLEM OVER - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race. Hampered by a breaking runner at the start.

A subsequent veterinary examination revealed BOWLEM OVER had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
