Mr May defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations alleging he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr May the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr May's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 28 December 2024 (3 days).

Junior driver S Hill, assisted by B Orange, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 400m when contacting the sulky wheel of LILAC LUXURY with the tyre puncturing in consequence. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hill's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 18 October until the conclusion of racing on 23 October 2024 (2 days).
