After questioning drivers J Smith (SCHOEMAKER) and B Orange (CLOVELLY HILL) and hearing their explanations, Stewards issued a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging Mr Orange had driven carelessly in this incident. Mr Orange advised he would be defending the charge with the hearing being opened and adjourned until the NZ Metropolitan TC meeting on 4 August 2024.
