Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming. When questioned regarding the performance Driver W House advised the gelding had become unsettled when contacting its own sulky wheel discs so he felt his best option was to work forward in an attempt to gain the lead, however Driver J Abernethy (EAGLE HANOVER) had been intent on holding the front with JACCKA BAYLIS then racing without cover for the remainder.
