Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1800m when BIGGLES shifted ground outwards as KAIRAKI DELIGHT was improving wide on the track. After viewing the replays it was established that driver R May (BIGGLES) had commenced his outward movement prior to KAIRAKI DELIGHT reaching his sulky wheel and accordingly no further action was required.
