Trotted roughly in the score up and was back from the unruly position at the start. Switched to a pace near the 1200m and had to be broken up by driver B Butt losing all chance. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Butt advised the gelding had objected to the track grit kickback and he would be making gear changes.
