A false start was declared when THE RIVER BOY refused to take up its position and KNOWING ME charged the barrier strand. THE RIVER BOY was sent to the Unruly position for the restart where the gelding will remain for future standing starts. A warning was placed on the barrier record of KNOWING ME.

Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 150m during the running. Connections did not contest the protest and KNOWING ME was disqualified by the Stewards. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
