Junior driver S Hill, assisted by driver J Cox, defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from all parties the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and after considering submissions on penalty suspended Mr Hill's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 23 March up to and including 28 March 2025 (2 days).

Driver R Houghton defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and both drivers, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Houghton's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 5 May up to and including 12 May 2024 (3 days).

When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised although the gelding had worked hard through the early stages to obtain the lead he was disappointed with the effort after being able to gain some respite through the middle stages.
