Driver S Ottley defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly when allowing her horse to strike the sulky wheel of MAVIS JONES and break in consequence. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Miss Ottley the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $300.
