Co-trainer C Dalgety advised he was disappointed with the effort and will be having blood tests taken from the horse in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued a warning for being late to notify the gelding would be racing without the notified blinds. When questioned regarding the performance co-trainer C Dalgety advised the gelding was racing up in grade in its first start back after a spell and had peaked on its run. Mr Dalgety added he expected the horse would derive considerable benefit from tonight's race.

Driver R Close admitted a breach of Rule 869(7A)(c) in that he forced another runner to race over track markers. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.

Junior driver M Holbrough (assisted by M Purvis) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly when shifting ground when insufficiently clear resulting in REGGIE GOLIGHTLY being crowded and THE NIGHT FOX being checked shortly after. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Holbrough's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 6 October 2024 (2 days).
