DIDJASHOUTTHEBAR - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out rule near the 1500m when this runner raced wider on the track after JAHI (H Orange) shifted outwards from the marker line. It was established that Mr Orange had commenced his outwards movement prior to DIDJASHOUTTHEBAR reaching his sulky wheel with no further action required. When questioned regarding the performance driver W House advised the gelding had proven difficult to steer at various stages and then disappointed when failing to run on. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality.

Mr Orange also confirmed the difficulty he encountered in steering the gelding over the final stages which resulted in him being unable to attempt to take the run which was available to the inside of ONETANGI GIRL in the passing lane.
