BROMAC TIMES - junior driver Z Meredith, assisted by HRNZ Development Co-ordinator Mr R Butt, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Meredith's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 24 September up to and including 8 October 2024 (4 days).

BROMAC TIMES - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer I Court advised the gelding had been working well in preparation for today's race, had taken benefit from a recent trial and received an economical run throughout.

Stewards spoke to junior driver H Orange (assisted by S Ottley) and after viewing the replays it was deemed the contact had been accidental and no further action was required. Locked wheels briefly with ITZ ALL FIRED UP passing the 180m after that runner lay outwards.
