After considering Mr House's explanation and viewing the replays, Stewards were satisfied his decision at the time was not unreasonable and took the matter no further.

Mr May defended a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations alleging he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr May the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr May's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 28 December 2024 (3 days).

IVONA DADIC - held up throughout the run home. Junior driver S Hill, assisted by B Orange, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 400m when contacting the sulky wheel of LILAC LUXURY with the tyre puncturing in consequence. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hill's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 18 October until the conclusion of racing on 23 October 2024 (2 days).

RAPID RESPONSE - held up early in the run home. Driver H Orange's foot slipped from the sulky footrest near the 300m when activating gear and made contact with the gelding's hind leg. Stewards spoke to junior driver H Orange (assisted by S Ottley) and after viewing the replays it was deemed the contact had been accidental and no further action was required. Locked wheels briefly with ITZ ALL FIRED UP passing the 180m after that runner lay outwards.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding. Trainer S Adlam advised he would be making gear changes prior to resuming.
