Trainer S Doody advised that the filly will be turned out for a spell.

The matter was adjourned to be heard at the Auckland Trotting Club meeting on the 15 March due to Mr Abernethy having travel commitments.

ENYA FRANCO - Junior Driver W House, who declined the assistance of a senior, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip & Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and considering penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300. Mr House reported that the mare had lay in throughout the run home causing him difficulty and that the removable deafeners had failed to activate despite his efforts.
