Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation and also that the interference to the 5th placed LA MIKI had not affected the placings. A final warning was placed on the racing manners of ENZO. A hopple middle carrier came adrift inside the final 20m and Stewards were satisfied that this was not the cause of the break but may have occurred as a result so took the matter no further.

Mr Abernethy stated the mare had not handled the bends well on the first day and with driver J Dickie (FINAL CHANGE) sitting back off the leaders he felt it was his best option to improve round at this stage to race handy.

INDISPOSED - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period and was cleared to start. Held up final turn and early stages of the run home. Driver M Hay reported that the removable deafeners failed to activate despite his efforts.

INDISPOSED - back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Weakened from the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion.

INDISPOSED - briefly raced wider on the track near the 1400m when THE MAESTRO shifted ground outwards. Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule however after viewing replays it was established that Driver P Ferguson (THE MAESTRO) had commenced his outwards movement prior to INDISPOSED covering his sulky wheel with no further action required. Paced roughly and broke near the 1300m hampering an outside runner and lost ground. Weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.

Junior Driver C Hackett, assisted by T Mitchell, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip in a continuous manner over the concluding stages. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended her driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 7 February up to and including 14 February 2025 (3 days).
