Mr Abernethy stated the mare had not handled the bends well on the first day and with driver J Dickie (FINAL CHANGE) sitting back off the leaders he felt it was his best option to improve round at this stage to race handy.

Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule however after viewing replays it was established that Driver P Ferguson (THE MAESTRO) had commenced his outwards movement prior to INDISPOSED covering his sulky wheel with no further action required. Paced roughly and broke near the 1300m hampering an outside runner and lost ground. Weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.

Junior Driver C Hackett, assisted by T Mitchell, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip in a continuous manner over the concluding stages. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended her driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 7 February up to and including 14 February 2025 (3 days).
