GOLDEN LINE - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position near the 1150m. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 650m. Weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Driver W House stated that the early effort when caught wide had taken its toll.

BET ON POLLY - a post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Gibbs advised he will have blood tests conducted on the mare in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.

BET ON POLLY - out of position at the start. Driver J Abernethy was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful Mr Abernethy had been warned recently in relation to this rule.

INNOCENT MAN - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start.

INNOCENT MAN - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Broke near the 1800m losing further ground then paced roughly near the 700m and again rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. Stewards will follow up with Trainer M Berger in the coming days.
