Stewards questioned drivers B Orange (EYELINER), S Ottley (FEAR GOGH) and C Dalgety (THAT IS LOVE) regarding this incident where it was established that EYELINER had lay outwards approaching the first bend resulting in THAT IS LOVE contacting this runner's sulky wheel and pacing roughly in consequence. Raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 850m.
