LUKAKU - hampered when locking stays briefly with an inside runner early in the run home. Driver J Darby admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Darby's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including the 4 April 2025 (2 days).

LEWEY MAGUIRE - raced wide early and middle stages before crossing to the parked position near the 1750m. Lay in leaving the back straight the final time and then shifted down inside the marker line after the off side rein became detached and took no further serious part. It was established that a pricker on the rein had shifted forward after being forced back against the saddle terret when the gelding had lay in resulting in the rein coming unfastened, with no further action deemed necessary other than to note the circumstances.

A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. When questioned Driver J Dickie confirmed he had encountered difficulty in steering this runner and would be recommending a gear change.
