When assessing this Stewards took into account the margin between 2nd and 3rd placing. Driver S Phelan was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for not taking corrective action prior to contacting a track marker.

It was established that Driver S Abernethy (EYRE I WILL) had commenced his outward movement prior to SANINARMBRO, which was improving wider on the track, reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary.
