A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to the off hind leg and was treated by the Veterinarian.

Broke passing the 200m hampering the trailing KATYS SHADOW and losing ground. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation and lost ground when in a break, and also that KATYS SHADOW would not have finished ahead of this runner despite being hampered near the 200m.

After hearing from drivers O Thornley (WINELIGHT) and B Butt (GENERAL JEN) and taking into account the proximity of the incident to the start point Stewards took the matter no further.
