After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Ms Ranger's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 4 March 2025 (2 days).

It was established that Driver S Abernethy (EYRE I WILL) had commenced his outward movement prior to SANINARMBRO, which was improving wider on the track, reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary. Raced keenly middle stages.

Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 2nd placing firstly under Rule 869A(2) on the grounds of alleged interference to the 4th placed EYRE I WILL by virtue of that runner being obliged to race wide when unable to cross the breaking ITAINTNECESSARILYSO and secondly under Rule 870(2)(c) on the grounds that ITAINTNECESSARILYSO had gained an advantage over EYRE I WILL when failing to lose ground whilst in the break.
