Lay inwards approaching the 150m when being shifted wider by MIKE ROSS contacting that runner's sulky wheel and paced roughly for several strides. After hearing from drivers P Ferguson (MIKE ROSS), J Dickie (CAPTAINS SECRET) and viewing the replays Stewards were satisfied that no further action was required.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer N Purdon was at a loss to explain the disappointing performance and will have bloods taken in the coming days.
