LINCOLN LA MOOSE - the offside number detached during the middle stages and hung down. Weakened final turn. Co-Trainers R Green & N Delany were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after a middle carrier came adrift during the running. A post-race veterinary examination, which included an endoscopic procedure, revealed an irregularity with the epiglottis which requires further investigation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

Broke near the 1450m checking a trailing runner and lost ground. Over-raced down the back the final time. Broke again near the 400m losing its chance. A warning was also placed on this runner's racing manners.

When questioned Co-trainer/Driver L Hollis stated that he was disappointed with the filly's performance even though she had pulled hard during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
