Special Conditions

  1. RATINGS PROGRAMME

    An Age & Feature Races Premier Meeting. Only the rating races programmed will have changes made where it is required to optimise field sizes ensuring as many horses as possible gain a start.

  2. ONE NOMINATION

    Trainers are advised that a horse may only be nominated for One Race at this meeting. Trainers do however have the right to Transfer their horse(s) following the close of Nominations. The Club reserves the right to transfer any horse deemed necessary, unless trainers specify that their horse(s) is NOT to be Transferred.

  3. RESTRICTED PROGRAMME

    Owners and Trainers please note that this meeting is restricted to a ten race programme.

  4. NORTHERN REGIONAL PACERS CHAMPIONSHIP

    Pacers Final Fri, 25 April 2025 Alexandra Park. $40,000. Pacers Final 2700m Disc Hcp R50 & Faster. Max back mark 30m. To qualify for the Pacers Regional Championship Final a horse must have had at least (two starts for pacers) in the scheduled Northern Regional Country Championship Qualifying races. Please Note that for the NZ Country Championship conditions require three (3) starts in qualifying races. Please also note that whilst the Grant Plumbing Wellington & Otaki Cups run on 19 & 21 Jan are not NZ Championship Qualifiers they are for the Norther Regional Championship but will not accrue points for these races. The Northern Regional Pacers Qualifying Championship dates will follow the dates & venues currently listed on the schedule for the NZ Pacers Country Championship Qualifying Schedule for 2025 listed on the HRNZ Website. The qualifying points for pacers will follow the schedule as indicated in the 2025 Country Championship Conditions on the HRNZ Website.
