RATINGS BASED PROGRAMME

An Age & Feature Races Premier Meeting. Only the rating races programmed will have changes made where it is required to optimise field sizes ensuring as many horses as possible gain a start.

ONE NOMINATION PER HORSE

A horse may only nominate for one race on this programme, the trainer has the right to transfer the horse if he/she wishes, and may advise the club at the time of nomination whether the horse can to be transferred or not.

RESTRICTED PROGRAMME

NORTHERN REGIONAL TROTTERS CHAMPIONSHIP

Charlie Hunter Northern Regional Trotters Final Fri, 04 April 2025 Cambridge Raceway. 2700m Disc Hcp R45 & Faster. Max back mark 30m. To qualify for the Northern Region Trotters Final a horse must have had at least two starts in the scheduled Northern Regional Championship Qualifying races. To be eligible to contest the Regional Final a horse must be rated at R85 or below at the time of their first start in a Regional Country Championship Qualifying race. Or, if rated higher than R85 when first contesting a qualifying race, dropped to a Rating of R85 or less prior to nominations closing for the last qualifying race. The Northern Regional Trotters Qualifying Championship dates will follow the dates & venues currently listed on the schedule for the Pacers Country Championship Qualifying Schedule for 2025 listed on the HRNZ Website plus the feature trot being run at the Manawatu HRC meeting of March 30th. The designated trotters qualifying races will be indicated on the respective race programmes on these dates. The qualifying points for trotters will be (all races) irrespective of stake First 10 points, Second 5, Third 3, Fourth 2 points: Conditions for the series may be altered if required at the clubs discretion.

NORTHERN REGIONAL PACERS CHAMPIONSHIP

Pacers Final Fri, 25 April 2025 Alexandra Park. $40,000. Pacers Final 2700m Disc Hcp R50 & Faster. Max back mark 30m. To qualify for the Pacers Regional Championship Final a horse must have had at least (two starts for pacers) in the scheduled Northern Regional Country Championship Qualifying races. Please Note that for the NZ Country Championship conditions require three (3) starts in qualifying races. Please also note that whilst the Grant Plumbing Wellington & Otaki Cups run on 19 & 21 Jan are not NZ Championship Qualifiers they are for the Norther Regional Championship but will not accrue points for these races. The Northern Regional Pacers Qualifying Championship dates will follow the dates & venues currently listed on the schedule for the Pacers Country Championship Qualifying Schedule for 2025 listed on the HRNZ Website. The qualifying points for pacers will follow the schedule as indicated in the 2024 Country Championship Conditions on the HRNZ Website.
