For R35 to R50 pacers. Also R51 to R55 if driven by a concession junior driver. This race will be split based on Ratings/Conditions, meaning a higher rating 1-win pacer may be included in a lower rating race. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary. The lowest rating race will be run for $10,000, middle race(s) $11,000 and highest race $12,000. If race 10 is not held some or all horses will be transferred to this race and conditions changes.

For R50 to R80 pacers. Front: R50 to R57. 10m: R58 to R65. 20m: R66 to R73. 30m: R74 to R80. The winner of day one will not be re-handicapped for day two of this meeting. If this race is not held some or all horses will be transferred to Race 7 and conditions changed.

- RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME
Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.
- ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS
In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.
- IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS
Owners and Trainers are reminded that the club has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the club to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the club of the same.
- SPLITTING FIELDS
In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the club's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.
- DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS
In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
- GOLD CHIP
For non-win (MR), or up to 1 win trotters for lifetime aged two years and older at the closing of nominations for the Gore HRC meeting to be held on Sunday 9th February 2025. Conditions: 1. Open to all trotters aged two years and older that have never won a race (non-winners, MR), or have won one win for lifetime. 2. To be eligible to start in the Gold Chip Championship Trot a horse must start in at least one race or an open trot race run by Southern Harness Racing Clubs (Wairio TC, Gore HRC, Wyndham HRC, Winton HRC, Oamaru HRC, Invercargill HRC and Forbury Park TC) in the period from 9th February 2025 through to 16th Mrch 2025. The 'R' rating horses must win their second respective race at one of the Southern Harness meetings to be eligible 3.Field selection for the Gold Chip Championship will operate as follows: Most wins at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, most 2nds at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, most 3rds at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, then Club Discretion. 4.The $15000 Gold Chip Championship held on 22nd March 2025 at the Winton HRC meeting and will be raced over 2400m, from a standing start. (non-winners, MR) will start from the front line, R rated horses from a 20 metre handicap.
