For R35 to R65 3yo-&-older trotters. Front: R35 to R40. 10m: R41 to R50. 20m: R51 to R57. 30m: R58 to R65. The winner will get a rating penalty free win if 4YO and older, and driven by a Junior Driver, and has not previously won a rating penalty free race this season. See special condition No.6

3YO & OLDER R35 TO R55 SPECIAL HANDICAP PACE 2600m
Of $10000 ($5500, $1550, $950, $600, others $175)
For R35 to R55 3yo-&-older pacers. Front: R35 to R45. 10m: R46 to R55. The winner will get a rating penalty free win if 4YO and older, and driven by a Junior Driver, and has not previously won a rating penalty free race this season.

3YO & OLDER R35 TO R55 MOBILE PACE 2000m
Of $11000 ($6050, $1705, $1045, $660, others $192.50)
For R35 to R55 3yo-&-older pacers. These races will be split by Ratings/Conditions, meaning a higher rating 1-Win pacer may be included in a lower rating race. Sequential Preferential Barrier Draws (on Rating) will be used if deemed necessary. The winner of the highest rating race will get a rating penalty free win if 4YO & older & driven by a junior driver, & has not previously won a rating penalty free race this season. The stake for the lowest rating race will be $9,000, highest race $11,000. PLEASE NOTE: These races will have a maximum of eight (8) horses on the front line.

- RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME
Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.
- ONE NOMINATION
A horse may only nominate for one race on the programme/race day. The trainer has the right to transfer the horse if he/she wishes, and may advise the club at the time of nominations whether the horse is to be transferred or not. NOTE: selection preference, where applicable will be given to the ORIGINAL nominations for a race.
- ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS
In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.
- IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS
Owners and Trainers are reminded that the club has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the club to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the club of the same.
- SPLITTING FIELDS
In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the club's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.
- DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS
In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
- ELIGIBILITY
Any horse having less than the required Rating for races where Ratings apply are eligible to nominate but preference will be given in the first instance to horses that the race caters for in terms of Rating.
- GOLD CHIP
For non-win (MR), or up to 1 win trotters for lifetime aged two years and older at the closing of nominations for the Oamaru HRC meeting to be held on Thursday 7th November 2024. Conditions: 1. Open to all trotters aged two years and older that have never won a race (non-winners, MR), or have won one win for lifetime. 2. To be eligible to start in the Gold Chip Championship Trot a horse must start in at least one race or an open trot race run by Southern Harness Racing Clubs (Oamaru HRC, Wyndham HRC, Winton HRC, Invercargill HRC and Forbury Park TC) in the period from 7th November 2024 through to 20th December 2024. The 'R' rating horses must win their second respective race at one of the Southern Harness meetings to be eligible 3.Field selection for the Gold Chip Championship will operate as follows: Most wins at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, most 2nds at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, most 3rds at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, then Club Discretion. 4.The $15000 Gold Chip Championship held on 27th December 2024 at the Gore HRC meeting and will be raced over 2700m, from a standing start. (non-winners, MR) will start from the front line, R rated horses from a 20 metre handicap.
