  2. DUAL ACCEPTING

Selection Preference for this meeting, in the first instance, will be given to horses that are not already accepted into a race(s) at another meeting or race day (i.e. in Day 1 into Day 2). This condition includes races later than this race day/night. This condition will not apply to races that are covered by specific series or race conditions; e.g. NZ Sires Stakes Board Administered races.

  3. LATE NOMINATIONS

In the event Nominations are extended for any races or the meeting, selection preference will be given to those horses that Nominated at the original closing time. Except in the case of Non-Win races, where Field Selection Regulations take precedence or where specific race or series conditions are Programmed.

  4. ELIGIBILITY

Any Horse is eligible to nominate & accept for a Race that has a higher Rating than it has. However, preference will be given in the first instance to Horses that the Race caters for in terms of Rating. For Races specified as "R" Races, preference will be given to "R" Rating Horses (ie. Race Winners) over "MR" Rating Horses (ie. Non Race Winners).

  5. FIELD SELECTION

Field Selection for this meeting will be conducted in line with the Handicapping Regulations for non-win or non-win front races. That being; first and second preference horses will be selected in the first instances and thereafter at club's discretion. All other races will be selected at the clubs discretion or per the conditions attached to each Programmed race.

  6. SPLITTING FIELDS

In the event any race or races are split on the Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the club's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  7. FAST 10 RACE MEETING

Sunday 3 November is a 'Fast10' race meeting. It is designed to be completed within three hours, with shortened time frames between races. Each race will be restricted to a maximum of 10 starters, plus an emergency, where appropriate. In order to change-up the nature of these races the mobile configuration for all races will see a maximum of six starters off the front line. Fast10 is designed to be a fast-paced meeting, with fast-paced races & a clear focus on the on-course experience. For races run as Preferential Barrier Draws, they will be sequentially as there is no Grid for 1900-metre start races, with a maximum of six horses on the front line.
